Yes yes to amazing ! It really jars me when it is over used on here. "He's an amazing dad and a cheat " "We have an amazing connection"
Home made on the What's for dinner threads. Boasty? I don't know.
Off to eat amazing homemade potato wedges for tea.

Sweetpea55 · 12/05/2018 16:51

'Very much so'.. whats wrong with absolutely.
And all the office crap...'Blue Sky Thinking'

' Reaching out to you' (aarrgghhhhh)
'Thinking outside the box'
'Ticking all the boxes
'Pieces '

angryburd · 12/05/2018 16:55

"picky bits/tea"
Everything on this website is "grim" and it does my head in.
"little", when in reference to children. "Oh, he's so little!" It's so fucking twee. Say small, say young, fine. But not little.
The word "boob". Even typing it makes me cringe. Ditto "snog".

Shrodingerslion · 12/05/2018 16:56

Cooking from scratch

EllenOlenska · 12/05/2018 16:56

Freetodowhatiwant · 12/05/2018 16:59

All of these, but I’m going to have to add really weird one. The world Bolton (a place I’ve never been btw) almost makes me gag when I say it! It’s got nothing to do with the place as like I said I’ve never been there. Just something about the roundness in my mouth when I say it 😀

Jesuisleloup · 12/05/2018 17:00

Supper
Off pronounces owf
pink fizz for prosecco
Cascade the message down : managers need to tell minions stuff that clever big bosses have made up
Being called mum instead of my actual name
Stop being such a pussy Biscuit
Pleasant Hmm

InThisTogether · 12/05/2018 17:02

I heard a man in the supermarket today say "bee-squits" instead of biscuits.
Made me shudder. You just know the sort of 'funny' guy he'd be.

DeltaG · 12/05/2018 17:02

The word 'delicious' when not applied to food. For e.g. revenge was delicious.

Snuggle/snuggles/snuggle time.

'Little one' used to describe children.

Darling, as a noun but even more as an adjective, e.g. her dress was darling.

The word 'lovely' in used in certain contexts, usually implying smugness. Trying to think of an example but can't right now, but I see it all the time on here!

Stillblundering · 12/05/2018 17:03

More (insert nouns) than you can shake a stick at. Who bloody well shakes sticks at anything???

Ginpasta · 12/05/2018 17:03

#mumlife - gives me the rage for some reason 🤔

ivenoideawhatimdoing · 12/05/2018 17:06

Little Man
Squelch
Hubby/wifey and all their variants

Frogletmamma · 12/05/2018 17:06

With DD its a a combination of words which somehow convey absolutely nothing. Eg. We had this like..thing..and it was like...literally awesome.

ivenoideawhatimdoing · 12/05/2018 17:08

Boob in regard to breast feed.

I’m going to boob her to bed

No.

Stillblundering · 12/05/2018 17:26

The overuse and inappropriate use of the words, literally, like, basically, essentially and using so at the beginning of every ruddy sentence.
And LOL, ROFL etc.

PickleJuice · 12/05/2018 17:34

Doggo. Pupper. Angry

MrsDilber · 12/05/2018 17:47

Hun is really insincere. Nobody close to me calls me hun, only strangers (who are trying to be friendly) so it's my bad, not theirs.

Banana8080 · 12/05/2018 17:47

Yummy Envy

Stillblundering · 12/05/2018 17:48
