It took me less than a minute on Twitter to find the (alleged) name of the FBI informant. I then spent 15 mins reading through twitter posts by right wing/Russian bot/Trumpers. They are very much pushing the idea that it’s illegal to investigate people (Trump at least) . The vitriol is amazing, calling him a traitor etc.
The police/FBI etc use informants and undercover people all the time to gather evidence and help build cases where wrong doing is suspected... Trump clearly things he should be given a free pass because he’s Trump.
