OK, I'll admit it. That 'rocks in the sea' story made me laugh so hard I nearly wet myself. Sitting here on the beautiful California coast and imagining anyone thinking that the sea level would rise because a bit of dirt and rock? It was too much for my brain.

Made me want to stand on the edge of the cliff tossing rocks in and screaming "I AM MIGHTY!!!I AM RAISING THE SEA LEVEL!!!" and laugh like a loon.

But my excuse is that my consciousness was in a bit of an altered state when I saw the story.

I don't think I'll ever understand the gun culture in the US. Other countries have high rates of gun ownership but don't seem to have the same worship around guns.

Watching MP the VP saying his bit on the school shooting made me feel nauseous.
