I know from previous experience that many here live in a naice area. But I don't and I've seen several guys with their nips out around town and even one guy in asda.

Surely beach yes that's fine, but around town really? It's not even that hot.

I'm posting to BoomsBooms and reset; the only posts worth reading in my opinion.

Why do you all need to voice your nasty comments? Is there a 'type' that does this, do you think? Or don't you think? Is that the point? Whatever vacuous little spiteful thought pops into your heads, you have to blurt it out and find a coven to share it with.

I'm on another thread at the moment that has prompted me to this one; the dominating theme being disparaging how somebody else looks. Grim. This thread's grim too. We all have thoughts about a variety of things but the way people look really shouldn't graduate beyond that. Urgh.

Surely it’s hotter to have the sun directly on your skin rather than have the protection of a cotton tshirt? Bare skin means more friction and nowhere for the sweat to go.

I remember a shirtless twat in a white van drove past me once when I was trying to run off some of my big arse, yelling that I was a ‘fat bitch’. Mate, your belly is touching the steering wheel. At least I’m trying!

Lying I don't give a shit about what the people in question look like; my gripe is with people treating public spaces like their own bathroom. Because until it becomes the norm to walk around naked I am going to contend that most people do believe there is a distinction.

Never think about it and don't mind. I've lived in mainland China a lot and in Beijing the guys roll their Tshirts up in summer to their chest exposing their bellies. We call it "Beijing Bikini".

That said, the personal comments on this thread about people's bodies are really unkind and, other than a collective bitching session, what's the purpose?

I wish DH would take his top off - only in the garden, though (and obviously the beach). He has a body that I like, it's not perfect & he has padding as have I, but I would like him to feel more comfortable and also more confident about various operation scars.

I agree with tops ON near food or similar, and I don't have an opinion on the buys who walk down the street unless I am also judging then for something else (like swigging beer or smoking, or doing that stupid Oasis swagger)

Lady, add me to that number. You just won't find me posting nasty shit about them on threads or anywhere else. It's one thing to say that you don't like something, whatever it is, but why the personal judgements? There's quite a few posters on the thread who haven't been savage and my posts aren't aimed at them, or you.

I'm aggrieved because this board seems full of some really spiteful threads; Meghan Markel, 'What do you judge?', all filled with posters of the same nasty ilk. I can't beat them, would never join them so I'm just posting my annoyance about it.

No, I can see that reset has had some posts deleted. Presumably those were the ones you're talking about. I think actually all her posts have been deleted but the one that I referenced wasn't venomous at all. I didn't see the latter ones.

To be honest I'm surprised I'm in the minority. Doesn't bother me at all if work/ leisure outside. Just wish I had the freedom to do so and don't want to stop men just because I can't.

If a woman did go topless I actually think most judgement would come from other women. Men probably wouldn't care.... They might stare a bit but doubt they'd judge as much as other women would.
