To think men put your nips away

I know from previous experience that many here live in a naice area. But I don't and I've seen several guys with their nips out around town and even one guy in asda.

Surely beach yes that's fine, but around town really? It's not even that hot.

My eldest son (3) walked past some topless builders on Friday & shouted out “mummy, why is that man naked”. 😂

ShotsFired · 07/05/2018 11:42

There are several pp with Wink posts talking about ripped muscly young men etc. It's ALL grim. It all feels every so slightly PA too - I will do what the fuck I want, try and stop me.

Again, beach, garden, pool - fine. Walking on the street, in a shop - anywhere where people normally wear clothes, I couldn't care if it was Adonis himself. Put your fucking shirt on you charmless antisocial goon.

BasilFaulty · 07/05/2018 11:50

I wonder what would happen if women started catcalling those men with their nips out in public or yell at the hairy ones “oi, shave your chest love

Imagine Grin

themusicisoutsid3 · 07/05/2018 11:52

When I worked for Tescos at a seaside town we used to get hairy man boobs everywhere (before the trend to shave chests). The manager decided to ban these people from coming into the store for hygiene reasons.

adaline · 07/05/2018 12:40

It is warm but it's really not so hot that you need to be half naked wandering down the street!

adaline · 07/05/2018 15:03

Belindabauer · 07/05/2018 18:18

Wearing shorts and a vest is not the same as being topless.
I've had shorts on today.
It's been red hot here.
Even so I didn't feel the need to go topless whilst wandering around shops.
I managed to keep within the bounds of decency.
I've tried clothes on today but would expect someone to pull me up if I had my tits out in the shop.

Flutist · 07/05/2018 18:36

My mum lives in a "nice" area (self built houses occupied by professionals and entrepreneurs). The 60-something bloke next door (probably the wealthiest man in the street) still potters around in the front garden topless, in full view of the entire street. It's disgusting not to mention common as muck. I guess you can take the man out of the council estate but you can't take the council estate out of the man!

couchparsnip · 07/05/2018 18:54

Yes put them away! I saw a bloke today wearing a little vest with a neckline so low his nips were on display. Literally no point in wearing the thing.

Sparklingbrook · 07/05/2018 19:03

Lots of men in vans topless today. Surely they get a sweaty back and nipple chafe off the seatbelt?

bobstersmum · 07/05/2018 19:05

It makes me feel really uncomfortable! It's only chavs that do it.

rubybleu · 07/05/2018 19:55

Honestly it’s not that hot. 26 degrees is a mild day where I’m from! Last time I was home it was a solid 36/38 deg most days, high summer, very high humidity and the only time I saw shirtless men was at the beach. Even ducking into a cafe after a swim means you put your top on. Wandering around topless is antisocial.

It’s not even cooler to go topless, you want to wear loose clothing covering you up if you’re in the sun. I wandered into town today and stuck a loose linen shirt over my vest top as it’s far cooler than having the sun beat down on bare shoulders.

LeighaJ · 07/05/2018 20:03

I don't live somewhere known for being classy, so there's a steady parade of men with their shirts off if it's remotely warm.

I just ignore them cuz I think many of them do it for attention. I don't care how many hours a douchebag spends in the gym, they're still a douchebag. Grin

LiteraryDevil · 07/05/2018 20:37

I hate it too. Especially the lager swilling topless types. With sunburn. But what I hate most is topless children with sunburn. Especially when it's from the previous day as you can see the white marks from a top and yet there they are completely uncovered getting the rest burnt too.

MrsJamin · 07/05/2018 20:40

Some guy in B&M Home stores the garden centre today had a totally open shirt on with hairy nipples, had to squeeze past him as he was taking up most of the aisle.... Yeeeuch I was close to touching his chest! Disgusting... Men! Put them away!

Coralcolouredchrome · 07/05/2018 21:29

I absolutely hate to see these lager carrying shirtless chavs. I was with some friends in a restaurant, and this couple walked in, he was shirtless with his t-shirt pushed through his belt loop on his trousers. The waiter asked him if he would mind putting his shirt on, the chav swore at him and walked out. I think that just about sums up the mentality of these shirtless, lily white, tufts of hair under their armpits, toothless inbreds......and as for the men......

pendeen123 · 08/05/2018 09:56

Last year in the middle of summer the female clerk at Cannes railway station refused to sell my OH a ticket unless he buttoned up his shirt! (Was that legal?)

nowshesaturtle · 08/05/2018 10:02

In the 90s I worked for Barratt a house builder. Often when I visited sites on hot days some of the trades would be working in just their pants. Now THAT was grim

Coralcolouredchrome · 08/05/2018 10:33

nowshesaturtle eeeeeuw, there are times in our lives, you wished they did peels for our eyes, so you can undo what you've just seenShock

Yep! Lived in fear of things popping out, I can tell you!

Mammyloveswine · 08/05/2018 10:53

I'm a teacher and have had to request dads put their shirts back on in the yard when picking up!

ICantCopeAnymore · 08/05/2018 11:00

Same, @Mammyloveswine - lots of dads collect children wearing only very short shorts and flip flops. I really don't need to see that Grin

CruCru · 08/05/2018 11:11

I'm feeling a bit sorry for the guys who are getting slated for not wearing a top in their gardens. I don't like the sight of men going about topless on the High Street, the supermarket or outside pubs. But I think it is fair enough in your own garden.

FASH84 · 08/05/2018 11:11

My DH wears too many clothes we were sat in the garden yesterday afternoon, it was about 25 degrees, I was wearing a light cotton summer dress, he had on jeans a t-shirt, socks and trainers, he made me feel warm looking at him, but he says he's fine. He's confident, slim and tans easily so it's not a self esteem thing he just doesn't get hot

Hushnownobodycares · 08/05/2018 11:23

It's rank.

Worst case I ever saw involved a man dripping pit sweat into the freezer at the supermarket as he scrabbled for whatever it was he wanted. One of the grimmest things I have ever seen.
