To think men put your nips away

I know from previous experience that many here live in a naice area. But I don't and I've seen several guys with their nips out around town and even one guy in asda.

Surely beach yes that's fine, but around town really? It's not even that hot.

I grew up in a place with regular 40 degree heatwaves. Even then it didn't happen.

I think it's because the sun is so rare. Some go crazy for it.

BoomBoomsCousin · 07/05/2018 04:38

I don't care if people are topless. It really doesn't have any impact on me at all and I wish we could be less hung up on other people's bodies.

Graduate223 · 07/05/2018 05:26

I hate it. I hate men in shorts too, I won’t let my DH wear shorts. It’s never that hot!

resetEntries · 07/05/2018 05:34

@Graduate223

What does he let you wear?

Thishatisnotmine · 07/05/2018 05:51

Yanbu. And it isn't about double standards. I am not offended by man nipples or woman nipples, I am put off by the thought of sweat getting on everything.

jugglingsatsumas · 07/05/2018 06:00

Bare torsos in the supermarket are just grim.

LadyRochfordsHoickedGusset · 07/05/2018 06:01

Yanbu
Yanbu
Yanbu

I don't want to make spontaneous eye-contact with a stranger's nipples.

LadyRochfordsHoickedGusset · 07/05/2018 06:06

*I want to shout IT'S NOT THAT HOT AND NEITHER ARE YOU
*
Brilliant Grin

Wotrewelookinat · 07/05/2018 06:24

Agree, why they can’t they just keep their tshirts on like women have to in public? I go to a rock climbing Centre alot (daughters climb, not me) and at this time of year the men are generally half naked.

Ifailed · 07/05/2018 06:46

You wouldn't like it where I live, I went out walking yesterday in the countryside and the vast majority of men & women I met were wearing shorts, including me. Luckily, none of them were topless.

MothershipG · 07/05/2018 07:04

You lot are all man nipple shamers! And should be ashamed of yourselves. 😂😂😂

But seriously I can't really see the problem, maybe because my Dad lived in shorts and loved to go topless and in this weather my DH wanders around the house in a tiny pair of running shorts. Admittedly both of them would put a top on if they went out but honestly a bit of pasty flesh on show is really not that bad. 😂🌞

LadyRochfordsHoickedGusset · 07/05/2018 07:08

Yeah but MothershipG that's your DH and DF, not some random In Sainsbury's :)

Jordan4531 · 07/05/2018 07:10

Nope I think the same, the double standards are just ridiculous and it annoys me. Also it's never attractive men, always chubby hairy one that feel the need show off their moobs

Belindabauer · 07/05/2018 07:16

Agree totally op.
I was in the supermarket and there was a topless man.
Gross.
It's not even hot in the supermarket!
Cover up you look a twat.

DragonMummy1418 · 07/05/2018 07:18

It annoys me because of the double standards too.
A man can walk around with his chest out but if a woman was discreetly breastfeeding she'd get scowled at or leered at. 😡

resetEntries · 07/05/2018 07:26

Does a thread where people share their put downs when they deem someone unatractive or don't like the way they're dressed annoy you Dragon?

How about posts talking about a family sneering at another because of his body and then enjoying his shirt being destroyed?

How about discussing what they allow their partner to wear?

topsyandtimison · 07/05/2018 07:30

Can't breath..this thread is hilarious he he!

EdWinchester · 07/05/2018 07:33

I agree - it’s grim. It’s always a certain type that does it on the streets or in a shop.

QueenOfIce · 07/05/2018 07:37

Next time I see a topless man in the supermarket I'm going to stand next to him and whip off my top and bra, a nipple is a nipple, right?!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/05/2018 07:38

Never so hot you need to remove your shirt in public? 24, 25° is hot enough for that I reckon. And men's nipples aren't something that needs to be covered up. Hmm

IfyouseeRitaMoreno · 07/05/2018 07:41

Well firstly the post about the poor bloke losing his shirt to the lawn mower is just mean. It’s his garden FGS. He’s not harming anyone and to think you’re encouraging his girls to laugh at him Hmm

But yeah, in public it’s grim. And sexist. Imagine the attention and slut shaming a woman would get if she walked down the street torso naked.

I wonder what would happen if women started catcalling those men with their nips out in public or yell at the hairy ones “oi, shave your chest love!”

Just a bit of reverse role playGrin

adaline · 07/05/2018 07:42

I don't see the need for it wandering around Tesco. I mean, I don't want to see some random persons nipples while I'm doing the shopping and I'd say the same if it was a women unless they were breastfeeding. The U.K. doesn't get that hot. Just put a t-shirt on!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/05/2018 07:42

ThatWas we fight for the right to bf in public but tell men to put their perfectly respectable, pre-watershed nipples away?

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/05/2018 07:46

Graduate it is that hot! I'm melting in anything over 20°!

OohMavis · 07/05/2018 07:47

They're usually men in their early twenties with eeny weeny abs who've skipped leg day, t-shirt tucked in their trackie shorts and a red bull in hand Grin

The double standards piss me off. If I'm indecent if I have my nipples out, SO ARE YOU.

Our supermarkets have a No Shirt No Service policy. It's nice not having to worry about men smearing B.O all over the melons.
