Do you change your sheets according to need or just on a regular schedule no matter what?

By that, I mean I change my sheets the next day after sex. It doesn't matter where I am in my laundry schedule iyswim?

Also, in summer, I change them more regularly.

I don't understand why people would do once a week/month and not consider what has happened to those sheets in between.

I will leave them a bit longer if we've had a dry spell(!) so I'm not like a clean freak or anything Smile

I change mine when I feel they need it. I don't automatically change them after sex

CoughLaughFart · 05/05/2018 09:39

I have this mad scheme where I change them if they’re dirty.

perpetuallybewildered · 05/05/2018 09:40

So you change the sheets everyday if you have sex everyday? Fuck that for a game of soldiers.

FittonTower · 05/05/2018 09:40

Tend to do mine on a Sunday. Just like jesus.

itallhappensforareason · 05/05/2018 09:41

Who has sex every day?

dietcokemango · 05/05/2018 09:46

What if you have a bit of afternoon delight on the couch, do you buy a new one? ShockGrin

No, couldn't change them that infrequently. Confused

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 05/05/2018 09:51
Grin

Just have sex on your OH’s side.

Exactly how DIRTY is the sex you’re having GrinGrin?

dayinlifeof · 05/05/2018 09:54

Whenever the sun is shining regardless of need. At weekends/days off I wash them two days in a row sometimes because there is nothing better than bed linen fresh from the washing line.

IHaveACuntingPlan · 05/05/2018 10:05

Just whenever they start to get a bit whiffy. In the summer we do them more often. They need doing now but will have to wait until tomorrow because we have the grass to do today.

I change my sheets the next day after sex we just put a towel down...

MissMooMoo · 05/05/2018 10:11

Change them on a Friday.
I sometimes change more often in the summer if it is hot.

seventh · 05/05/2018 10:13

Who knew that Jesus changed beds. This place is full of useful info 💕😂😂

GladAllOver · 05/05/2018 10:14

This thread will probably end up in the Daily Fail, just like the one about wearing PJs in bed as soon as sex was mentioned.

Depends if there's a wet patch or not

somewhereovertherain · 05/05/2018 10:30

Every couple of weeks suits us.

dietcokemango · 05/05/2018 10:31

He was a carpenter, maybe he just built a new one every week?

LOL, I'm not that busy Wink. Maybe if I fucked too many soldiers, I might need to change the sheets.

It's more that I change them on a rough schedule but with allowances for circumstances - e.g. go early when it's a particularly sunny day / delay if it's lashing down.

I change the sheets way less often than I have sex

EleanorHooverbelt · 05/05/2018 13:48

Grin Rarely happens these days, though I do have removable covers. Also good for the dog (not that he's using the couch in THAT way!)

WTF is a laundry schedule? Confused You wash things when they need washing AFAIK.

Basta · 05/05/2018 13:53

Who cares?? Christ! (Who maybe does care, if he's in charge of sorting out everyone's bed linen every Sunday.)

Why are there so many of these threads?!

EleanorHooverbelt · 05/05/2018 14:01

WTF is a laundry schedule?

Oh, I've seen loads of "systems" being used for housework. Flylady is one and some people have different days of the week for certain rooms/tasks. Just a way of organising the whole mess, I suppose.

I can't believe how often Christ and Jesus have been mentioned in a thread about washing sheets Grin. Though cleanliness IS next to godliness, so they say...

I wonder if most AIBUs could be solved by asking oneself what would Jesus do.
