Do you change your sheets according to need or just on a regular schedule no matter what?

By that, I mean I change my sheets the next day after sex. It doesn't matter where I am in my laundry schedule iyswim?

Also, in summer, I change them more regularly.

I don't understand why people would do once a week/month and not consider what has happened to those sheets in between.

I will leave them a bit longer if we've had a dry spell(!) so I'm not like a clean freak or anything Smile

I did Flylady. That's a blast from the past. Was no fun.

I just do things as and when.

I have today washed DS1's duvet because it will dry on the line.

I struggled with that too and didn't stick to it.

I need some kind of system, however loosely-based though, as I just see the whole house as a big mess and don't know where to start and can't remember when something was last done. So everyday stuff gets done, but stuff that doesn't need done so much gets completely forgotten. So overwhelming. Sometimes I wonder if I had ADHD or something.

I get outlook to remind me. You can set it to recreate a reminder a certain period after you complete the last one.

E.g. yesterday I washed my duvet cover and clicked to complete that entry in my to do list. It then automatically generated another entry for two weeks' time. I can obviously actually wash them whenever I like, but it means I don't have to keep track of when it needs doing.

Once a week, unless the dog pees on it as he did this week Angry
