Doing some research on the house we're moving to and it's very near to a pub called.. the Malt Disley!

I love it!! I'm having a bitch of a time with the letting agent and this house is very worth it but aibu to ask you to cheer me up with funny shop/ pub names?

I used to live near a pub called "Back in an Hour"

Imagine it... Spouse hollers out "where are you going?"

"back in an hour"

Imagine the grief when he rolls in 5 hours later....

Chippy in the dales called Chip in Dale...genius

Local plumber called Flush Gordon

Local mattress shop called 'canny beds'. Gotta love the NorthEast.

As for fictional companies, I always got a kick out of...

Dewey, Screwem & Howe, Divorce Lawyers.

And I forgot... Down the road from me is a Japanese place.

This isn't the actual name of a pub near us buy it has a sign outside saying "House of Ale Repute"

Gone now, but there was a sunbed place called ‘Tanya Hyde’ and a homeware place called ‘Deb n Hands’.
Also a place that sold fridges, ‘Sellfridges’.

Fish & chip shop called the CodFather

There’s a chin of pizza restaurants called a “peace of Pizza” they logo is a the peace logo it does nice pizza too.

Mooey89 I know the Fawcett Inn! I once broke a heel off a stiletto when I was cycling down Fawcett Road and had to go in there to make a phone call.
