Best pub/ shop names ever!

Doing some research on the house we're moving to and it's very near to a pub called.. the Malt Disley!

I love it!! I'm having a bitch of a time with the letting agent and this house is very worth it but aibu to ask you to cheer me up with funny shop/ pub names?

Tree surgeons: Tree Wise Men.

There's a dress agency (ie buying and selling second hand dresses and clothes) in Poole called 'A Change of a Dress'.

It was even funnier to me when I was last there as they had just moved premises.

Ali Barbers - his name’s Ali and he cuts men’s hair.

The Cods Scallops

We have
“The town fryer” - chip shop
“The nippy chippy” - chip van
“Cooking marvellous” - kitchen accessories
“Up & running” - a sportswear shop
“Fleurtations” - florists
“Write here!” - stationers
And finally “the icing tip” - cake shop

Idle Working Men's Club

There is a district in Bradford called Idle, but the club may be mythical....

My local pub is called "The Local" which always makes me chuckle a little.

For any “Round The Horne” fans out there...the firm of house movers in Cambridge called Bonar Removals (one for the teenagers...)

Karachi Fried Chicken (although has changed it's name now) always used to make me smile.

In broadstairs a town where Charles Dickens famously lived/came from? There was a paint your own pottery shop called ‘Plate Expectations’

Lovely designer jewellery shop in Norwich called 'Stoned and Hammered' which I think is a genius name.

Car wash near my parents. Not called anything noteworthy but the tag line is “best handjobs in town” .. always makes me giggle

Bathroom fitters/plumbers in Surrey called 'All Cisterns Go' Gives me a chuckle whenever I spot their vans

Not a punning name, but a cracker for pub cricket. Just outside Farnham there is a pub called the Shepherd and Flock.......

Bakery shop called Bread Pitt

Thai Tanic restaurant

Nail shop called Hand Job

There's a carpet laying company called GLP round County Durham meaning get laid professionally and on the vans it says' or just get gripped and felt ' hahaha

On a different note, we followed a fresh fruit van once, on the back was a little notice stating 'No bananas are left in this vehicle overnight'

Pub called the Dog Inn

Idle wmc is a real place.
I liked a local decorating firm called awkward corner.
Not a name but on the back of a potato delivery wagon: In case of fire chip pan in cab.

Dog grooming parlour called "Doggy Style"
