Just what the title says...

Someone I know is starting to TTC, but she always says how hard it is when she looks after a 9 year old for the day or whatever and says "I couldn't have that all day".

Absolute BS.

BreconBeBuggered · 26/04/2018 13:07

Well everyone thinks your theory's a pile of poo, OP. I know how astonished I was at my own sudden and unexpected desire to have a baby when I had barely looked at one before. Noisy, smelly, demanding little creatures, monopolising all conversation when they started learning to speak. Ugh. Yet like everyone else's, mine were and remain the finest human beings on the planet and it was a huge joy to look after them.

I completely disagree.

My DM always used to say she couldn't standouts, apart from her own. I used to think it was weird, but now I completely understand her. I have a quiet, polite, shy and generally well behaved child - playdates exhaust me because other kids are nothing like my own!

*couldn't stand kids
