Royal Baby name making me rage

Firstly, I know that I am ridiculous and unreasonable and totally over invested but it is GIVING ME THE ABSOLUTE RAGE that the Royals haven't released the name of the baby yet. I'm sure they are doing it deliberately just to exercise the tiny scraping of power they actually have over us. They are doing evil laughs behind the curtains of Buck House and saying "let the commoners wait..."

I've just the baby names topic for recent posts on boys names.

Kate (she name changes a lot!) likes Bruno, Jude, Rex or Jordan.

I kept clicking "refresh" on Monday to see if she had him.
Now I keep clicking "refresh" to find out the name.
FFS.

They could at least say "baby boy has been born, we will announce name at noon on Friday" or whatever, so we can get on with life meantime.

Yeah I assumed it was because of ANZAC day too. They will announce it tomorrow I bet.

Only on MN do you get threads complaining that anybody cares at all about the baby and other threads were people feel actual rage at not knowing the name!

I don't blame them, to be honest. The British public seems to feel a weird sense of ownership over the royal children and that must be hard for Kate and Wills to deal with. I don't blame them for making the most of these first few precious days with their son before they share details about him with the world. It's just like any new parent who takes a few days before sharing baby names and pictures on social media etc.

I'm hoping they call it Graham or Tony.

I'm trying to redress that balance by really not giving them a moment's thought beyond hoping they're well and happy like any other children.

I couldn't care less when they 'announce the name.' It's not on my radar at all! It'll be one of the names that everyone's expecting, and that's it really, isn't it?

I think they’d not choose James because that’s the name of Edward’s son. Though I suppose there’s not a huge pool of Royal-sounding male names, so duplication is inevitable
