Royal Baby name making me rage

ItWillAllBeFine · 25/04/2018 21:46

Firstly, I know that I am ridiculous and unreasonable and totally over invested but it is GIVING ME THE ABSOLUTE RAGE that the Royals haven't released the name of the baby yet. I'm sure they are doing it deliberately just to exercise the tiny scraping of power they actually have over us. They are doing evil laughs behind the curtains of Buck House and saying "let the commoners wait..."

The reusing a middle name is hardly a new thing. Prince Andrew has Edward as one of his middle names.

I think it’s rather lovely.

IrisApfelRocks · 27/04/2018 11:17

Charles not James 🤦🏻‍♀️

liquidrevolution · 27/04/2018 11:20

Just went to see the drivel on the daily fail and is it me or have they put Mike tindall at 15 on the line of succession?

I think it's supposed to be Zara but it's very funny...

LaurieMarlow · 27/04/2018 11:23

All hail King Mike

TheLastNigel · 27/04/2018 11:24

I like it. Thank goodness by Arthur...

PerfectlyDone · 27/04/2018 11:26

Battleaxe Grin

I like your style.

Vanillaradio · 27/04/2018 11:28

I like it and it's nice that it wasn't one of the most expected ones. Surprised Philip wasn't in there though.

I think it's supposed to be Savannah Phillips then Zara... the tree below it is more accurate.

That's hilarious though WTF... I mean c'mon ... some bored excuse for a journo is having a larf!

Battleax · 27/04/2018 11:31

Well everyone’s happy one way or another 🤷🏻‍♀️🙂

Thebirthdayparty · 27/04/2018 11:35

There are so few names in the pot they are recycling them between siblings now 😀

It makes me giggle a bit when they say x name is a nod to x or y. There are so few names ANY name can be linked to someone!

AnneWiddecombesHandbag · 27/04/2018 11:38

Love the name. I think posh families do recycle names a lot. My DH (not posh) has his brothers name as a middle name. Although my in laws must really like the name as they gave SIL the female version of it too!!!

Thebirthdayparty · 27/04/2018 11:43

It would be nice if Kate’s side got a mention somewhere.

Calatonia · 27/04/2018 11:51

Yes, they could have put in Michael or James at the end....... Since Charlotte already references Charles.

HesterShaw · 27/04/2018 11:55

I wanted him to be called Simon or Kevin. Oh well.

mastershelp · 27/04/2018 12:09

I predict next girl will be Elizabeth Victoria Caroline.

Amanduh · 27/04/2018 12:12

It’s lovely.

Almondio · 27/04/2018 12:27

That's a solid nod to Remain right there Wink

I agree that Kate's family could have been included. Michael, James or Francis would be perfectly acceptable middle names for a royal baby. Charles was already honoured by 'Charlotte', does he need to be included again? Louis Arthur Michael would have been a nice gesture. The baby does have two sets of grandparents.

RubyFlint · 27/04/2018 12:54

Aww love it! Little Prince Louis!

JustaLittlePrick · 27/04/2018 13:05

Totally agree. No need for Charles. And although I thought Arthur would have been a great first name, it's kind of pointless as a middle name, a bit throwaway. It was an opportunity to honour a family member on Kate's side. And they'd already used Louis for George.

Weird thought processes. I wonder if they just wanted to choose a name that wasn't the bookie's choice.

SarfE4sticated · 27/04/2018 13:20

Erm, is it pronounced Loo-ee or Lewis?

Asking for a friend

user1485342611 · 27/04/2018 13:20

Oh woe is me posters:

"Well, if you were like me and had to get three kids under four ready in the morning you wouldn't have time to worry about your neighbour's fence"

"I used to be a single mum who had nothing left in her purse by Friday so yes, I might have sworn at you in the supermarket for getting in my way. People have other things on their mind apart from you, you know".

bringincrazyback · 27/04/2018 13:21

People actually care about this stuff??

SerenDippitty · 27/04/2018 13:21

I wonder if Meghan realises that any children she has with Harry will be the property of The Royal Family and her own parents will see virtually nothing of them?
