Royal Baby name making me rage

Firstly, I know that I am ridiculous and unreasonable and totally over invested but it is GIVING ME THE ABSOLUTE RAGE that the Royals haven't released the name of the baby yet. I'm sure they are doing it deliberately just to exercise the tiny scraping of power they actually have over us. They are doing evil laughs behind the curtains of Buck House and saying "let the commoners wait..."

Ah lovely name :)

pigmcpigface · 27/04/2018 11:06

Louis? LOUIS?

What is this, France?

willynillypie · 27/04/2018 11:07

YAYYYYYYY

NapQueen · 27/04/2018 11:07

Louis Arthur Charles. Nice.

LaurieMarlow · 27/04/2018 11:07

Haha. Nice choice. DS1 is Louis.

Pebble21uk · 27/04/2018 11:07

Well, that's my tenner down the drain - but at least I didn't put it on either Alexander or Albert!

Bookies will have SO cleaned up!

Battleax · 27/04/2018 11:07

I swear Royalists are all barmy Grin

Peace and denuclearisation has been has just been agreed in Korea. We’ll all be a bit safer tonight.

Fuck that, what’s the baby called? GrinGrin

CocoaGin · 27/04/2018 11:08

I love it - though he faces a lifetime of being called Lewis...........

That's the reason I didn't use it!!

BuntyII · 27/04/2018 11:08

Prince Louis
I didn't see that coming Confused

calzone · 27/04/2018 11:08

I had discounted Louis as it’s George’s middle name.

stopbeingadramallama · 27/04/2018 11:09

He's called Louis Arthur Charles! It's just been announced.

LarkDescending · 27/04/2018 11:09

I think they really had given George all their favourite boys’ names.

Louis is a wonderful choice

Nice for Prince Philip too, who was so close to Louis Mountbatten.

megletthesecond · 27/04/2018 11:09

They've recycled George's middle name Hmm.

FairyCustard · 27/04/2018 11:09

Ha ha!! I've quite enjoyed the Korea news this morning too!

Louis, ok well now we can all move on with our lives!!

LaurieMarlow · 27/04/2018 11:09

Louis but that’s George’s middle name, isn’t that just really odd?

I think so too, but the Royals do what they like. I think there's form for this with the Queen's children.

FairyCustard · 27/04/2018 11:10

Oh it's George’s middle name? Well that's weird! Maybe they've forgotten! Grin

liquidrevolution · 27/04/2018 11:10

Doesn't sound right with George and Charlotte.

It's a nice name though.

At least the wait is over Grin

FizzyGreenWater · 27/04/2018 11:12

Oh surprised they recycled George's middle name! Way to go to make it seem like an also-ran Confused

It's ok. Not great. Prince Louis looks better written down than said. Lou-ee sounds so nicknamey.

Really a bit weird. I guess they really liked Louis too but didn't know whether they'd have another to use it on - still feels a bit second-rate though.

TheKimJongUnofFeminism · 27/04/2018 11:12

Horrid. And very strange.

Gennz18 · 27/04/2018 11:12

Lovely name but it's quite weird to recycle child #1's middle name isn't it?

Thank god it's not Albert

KurriKurri · 27/04/2018 11:13

Damn - I had my money on Rumplestiltskin.

mastershelp · 27/04/2018 11:13

Lewie was often a brother to an Alfie/Emmie/Poppy a few years back where we live. I can see it coming back in again but still spelled Lewie.

calzone · 27/04/2018 11:15

George Louis Alexander.

It’s very odd with all the options available to them.

wurlie · 27/04/2018 11:16

I do reckon he was going to be Albert but they changed their mind when they realised the other connotation. Probably Albert Louis Charles so Louis got replaced with Arthur as the middle name.

IrisApfelRocks · 27/04/2018 11:16

Louis Arthur James

I am ridiculously excited about this. I mean I didn't even know she was pregnant until she gave birth. But I have a Louis and he is awesome so I love the name 😊
