If you could go on holiday anywhere in the world where would it be?
For me i’d fly business class to Australia and New Zealand.
My OH said his would be The Maldives. My mum’s would be a spa break in Dorset as she doesn’t like going abroad

Florida, staying in the Grand Floridian Disney hotel, at least 3 weeks, do all the parks, maybe see a rocket launch, my children would be in heaven.

ethelfleda · 22/04/2018 11:44

Honestly right now to Ireland. That's where DHs family live and I miss them.
I've done a fair bit of travelling at this point and can't be arsed with it anymore.
If I feel like it again at some point in the future then probably New York.

witchofzog · 22/04/2018 11:48

Purplerain101 · 22/04/2018 11:48

Allmyshilldren · 22/04/2018 11:50

Sri Lanka. Or Mexico. Or Madagascar. Or a 5 star cruise down the Amazon. Can’t decide!

vampirethriller · 22/04/2018 11:51

Vegas.

Goldenphoenix · 22/04/2018 11:51

I would take the family to Sri Lanka, we went on honeymoon and would love to return. The kids would be amazed by the elephants and turtles. Totally amazing country and food, mmm

witchofzog · 22/04/2018 11:53

@purplerain I am so envious of your dh. I can't see I will ever be able to afford it but you never know Smile

Purplerain101 · 22/04/2018 12:05

@witchofzog his dad lived there as a child so they took a trip back to visit. Looks beautiful!

So many.

Space
Japan
Canada
Alaskan/Antarctica cruise
Singapore
Greece
Scotland (home)
The Maldives
Palawan and Borocray in the Philippines
Boston
Disneyworld - all of them including the cruise for DD :)

witchofzog · 22/04/2018 12:17

@purplerain it really does. I don't imagine it is as unspoilt as it was when the film was made in the 60's but it still looks amazing in pictures to me. You and your oh will have to revisit together one day Smile

MeridianB · 22/04/2018 12:18

nightsky I was lucky enough to go to Easter Island on a work trip and it’s is an amazing place but bizarrely it is incredibly similar to the Devon coast. So you could get a similar experience closer to home!

BabychamSocialist · 22/04/2018 12:20

China is top of my list. We've done a lot of the Asian countries but China is still unvisited. No idea why, we just haven't got round to it!

I've always had a dream of doing the Orient Express as well, but probably when I'm older and retired!

AuntFidgetWonkhamStrongNajork · 22/04/2018 12:22

Since watching Amazing Hotels it would have to be The Brando on Tahiti, with perhaps a stop over in the boat hotel thing in Singapore. Or Bora Bora. Basically somewhere hot and sandy near water with a very discrete servant on hand to provide all refreshment.

MassDebate · 22/04/2018 12:23

We’ve just come back from Sri Lanka (second time with kids). It’s a fantastic, beautiful country with so much to see. My kids had the time of their life.

I think it’d have to be Australia for me, but maybe Costa Rica or the Galapagos.

theaveragewife · 22/04/2018 12:27

This Four Seasons world trip on a private plane is what I’d do. I saw this plane arrive in Marrakech a few years ago and it is so impressive!! Endless Krug onboard, 8 countries in 5* accommodation and experiences.

Unfortunately it’s around £120,000pp so probably won’t get round to it this yearGrin

iklboo · 22/04/2018 12:28

Round the world cruise in a suite. I'd take DS out of school and pay for a tutor to come with us so he didn't miss out too much school.

N3wL0gin · 22/04/2018 15:42

Travelling everywhere and not come back !

GreyGardens88 · 22/04/2018 15:46

Maybe an African safari as they cost a bomb

isseywithcats · 22/04/2018 15:49

Like Peachyking route 66 the whole of it on a Harley

Mississippilessly · 22/04/2018 15:52

The Maldives. Currently 20 weeks pregnant and coming to terms with not having hols like that again for a long time!!!

dontcallmethatyoucunt · 22/04/2018 15:59

It's time that I'd want for my dream holiday.

I'd do a years cruise in a presidential suite and start in Southampton and see about 50 countries. I'd not want to big a ship, but not too small, long stops in each place.

Bambamber · 22/04/2018 15:59

Pangkor laut

overmydeadbody · 22/04/2018 16:00

Somewhere warm with good surf.
