Haha I had a tshirt when I was about 14 that said “I shagged Johnny Knoxville” Blush I cringe so much when I think of it.

My mum and Dad determinedly never commented but it disappeared into thin air not long after I bought it. My mum denied all knowledge but I reckon she was saving me from myself.

Throwaway4misc · 17/04/2018 20:34

AlonsoTigerHeart · 17/04/2018 20:34

Ds went shopping.....
KT63 · 17/04/2018 20:36

@AlonsoTigerHeart are you 30 something? I had one Blush

AlonsoTigerHeart · 17/04/2018 20:37

I am 32👏

Trumpton · 17/04/2018 20:37

My DS had a tshirt that read “fuck me I am famous “ in diamanté on a black tshirt.
Not sure if it was an invitation or a statement but I made him wear it inside out when I met him to go shopping and he was a lot older than 13 years old.

StillSmallVoice · 17/04/2018 20:39

DD came home aged 13 with a T shirt emblazoned with 'Clitoris is not a Greek island'. She complained for ten years about how I'd 'stolen' her T shirt, so eventually I told her it was on the shelf under a seat she'd been sitting on all those years.

'Oh', was the reaction when she pulled it out. 'See what you meant, Mum'.

lalaloopyhead · 17/04/2018 20:39

I don't get it either - what is supposed to mean?

It just says I'm the Poo/Shit?

I can't see how could be offended by it to be honest - I'm just bemused...or old...or stupid.

KT63 · 17/04/2018 20:39

I’m 35

MonsteraDeliciosa · 17/04/2018 20:40

I don’t swear and don’t expect my kids to swear at home or public place

Where was the swearing? Confused It was a cartoon poo, FFS.

0h · 17/04/2018 20:41

I have a 13 year old DS.

We'd laugh at that in a shop but he'd never buy it as he'd know I'd never let him wear it. I'm not a control freak.

NerrSnerr · 17/04/2018 20:41

It's fine. I probably wouldn't let him wear it for school but any other time I wouldn't care. Especially if he usually only wears hand me downs I'd let him have his own style- even if his style is a bit shit!

Serena1985 · 17/04/2018 20:42

I think a far as offensive tshirts go a smiley poo is pretty tame.

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 17/04/2018 20:43

What does it mean? I'm the shit?! Surely not...

GabsAlot · 17/04/2018 20:44

i wasnt allowed to wear swear words on tshirts as a kid but times have changed

was it your money or his own?

NerrSnerr · 17/04/2018 20:45

Gabs but the t shirt doesn't have swearing on it. If someone reading it interprets the poo as 'shit' and is offended that's their problem.

AnnieAnoniMouser · 17/04/2018 20:46

I’d have taken it back too, I t’s inappropriate for a 13 yo.

StillSmallVoice did she know what it meant when she bought it? She was too young to wear it when she bought it, but it would make me laugh on a 20 something.

AlonsoTigerHeart · 17/04/2018 20:47

Just after I brought the handprint t shirt I entered my goth phase and had a band hoodie that said Cunt on it.

I used to go to my nannas wearing it

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 17/04/2018 20:48

Interprets the poo as shit! What's the difference??
And does it really mean "I'm the shithead"? Only a total gobdaw would emblazon that across their chest Confused

MartagonLilies · 17/04/2018 20:49

I remember when I was around 14/15, going shopping with my mum. We were in New Look, and buying under wear. I wanted these pretty, French style knickers. They were, and still are the most comfortable style underwear, IMO.

My mum told me I can get such things myself, when I have earnt my own money. She bought me a seven pack pair of thick thongs, with brightly colored slogans on. 'park & ride' and 'free permit' are the ones I remember... Confused

Goes to show, the parents aren't always right...

AlonsoTigerHeart · 17/04/2018 20:49

Nope tell a lie it was a t shirt that said Jesus is a Cunt.

Cradle of filth was the band

My poor nanna

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 17/04/2018 20:50

I brought this tshirt for my DS 10 he loves it. DP doesn’t like it but don’t really care as I paid 😏 it’s just a tshirt, people get so hung up on unimportant things. Everyone just likes to be politically correct. Lighten up already 😊

neveradullmoment99 · 17/04/2018 20:50

I think its funny! It wouldn't bother me tbh.

Idontdowindows · 17/04/2018 20:51

He's 13, of course he's going to buy crap. We all did.

Let him wear it, he'll soon tire of it and buy different crap clothes.

windchimesabotage · 17/04/2018 20:51

I had the obligatory FCUK tshirt in my teens!

No one will judge your parenting. Hes a teenager. Teenagers wear ridiculous clothing. Doesnt matter how wonderful your parenting is they will still find a way to slide something horrendous into their wardrobe at some point.
