To think this is one of the wankiest articles I have ever read?

I dislike the idea of the whole ‘how I spend it’ articles:

The thing is, these people have to promote a hedonistic luxury lifestyle in order to earn money. My DB is a fashion photographer and he was booked for a shot with many of the 'successful' names on social media for a magazine article. He takes a lot of famous peoples photos and said this group were memorable for their utter panic that any of the designer accessories they had 'borrowed' got damaged and resulted in a bill! We don't know anything about him or his real life situation but I do meet a lot of high net worth individuals thru work and not one of them would ever do an article like this - it's an invite to be robbed/scammed and they would consider it low class showing off.

Have you seen the one underneath dated 31st of March? A big smug declaration at being able to save 50,000 by 27. Living with parents in London and not paying a single penny to rent, bills, food etc as evidenced in her budget plan.

He is clearly a tosser but a bit of Googling suggests he's only 21. I suspect many 21 year olds with that kind of income might be a bit immature and braggy. That's no excuse for the HMO scheme though.

The problem is that he is simply answering questions but they haven't shown the questions, so it looks as though he's bragging. They've clearly asked him whether he has properties, what kind of car he has, how he travels, whether travelling privately has benefits, etc. When the answers are all lumped together like that it looks as though he's smug and self-satisfied. He might be, but it's not a fair way of showing what someone's saying.

That young woman who's saving her money doesn't pay a penny to her parents for food or bills! She also takes her own lunch to work (so that's their money, too!)
