He's been picked, they like him and his pictures will be in the catalogue.

AIBU to be thrilled?

I'm so excited!

My boy has made it. Am I the highlight of middle class yet? Grin

Disclaimer; never get to keep the clothes.

Do they pay much?

ferntwist · 14/04/2018 21:41

Aw, that’s lovely! Congrats

Babyplaymat · 14/04/2018 21:41

Cute! Would totally expect clothes.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 14/04/2018 21:41

Making your child work is surely working class? He should count himself lucky he’s a model not s chimney sweep.

Ps4hell · 14/04/2018 21:41

I'd be more impressed if you told me he was doing well academically but if his value to you rests on his appearance and your ability to make money from him then well done.

Ps4hell · 14/04/2018 21:42

;)

KittyVonCatsworth · 14/04/2018 21:42

YADNBU! Congratulations, you should be thrilled! X

That's a disgrace. Mamas and papas let you keep the clothes!

daydrinker · 14/04/2018 21:42

Thank you!

Pay is the standard booking fee DS gets from the agency. Boden don't even do the extra chaperone fee, tight eh? Grin

Congratulations. You must be very proud?

KC Chelsea, London.

Apparently they use just back drops for bean scenes now anyway Envy

@Ps4hell the OP is pleased that her son has been picked to do this. Being a model and doing well academically aren’t mutually exclusive. There’s no reason why the OP’s son won’t do well academically.

Well done to your DS, OP. Make sure you keep the pictures from a catalogue/print them off and keep them! It will be a lovely memory.

IAmMatty · 14/04/2018 21:45

Wow @Ps4hell I wish we could all be more like you

Ghanagirl · 14/04/2018 21:45

Well done!!
Ps4hell hoping you’re joking...

IAmMatty · 14/04/2018 21:46

Oh you were being sarky. Phew! Grin

Fruitcorner123 · 14/04/2018 21:46

Ps4hell but it's ok to value children on academic excellence which may be complete fluke and not due to anything they've done.

I love mumsnet but the last few days there have been so many judgy people on here the OP is having a big of a light hearted anonymous boast.

Pomegranatemolasses · 14/04/2018 21:48

Ps4hell has indicated she's joking, as far as I can see.

Oliversmumsarmy · 14/04/2018 21:48

Ps4hell

Don't knock it till you have tried it. Both dd and ds have done modelling, acting etc as children and they had a blast. They also have a nice little wedge of money if they need it in the future.
A good way towards a deposit on their first home.

The world doesn't revolve around academia.

daydrinker he will have a fantastic time.

TheScottishPlay · 14/04/2018 21:48

Congrats - hope it's an enjoyable experience - you don't get the clothes though - come on Johnny!!

VanillaSugar · 14/04/2018 21:50

Awwww don’t knock the OP. But I hope you’ll be more Mrs Radcliffe than Mrs Culken.

Mouseville65 · 14/04/2018 21:50

@SecretIsland 'quite the cunt' make me spray coffee!!! Brilliant 👌

Tobebythesea · 14/04/2018 21:50

Congratulations OP.

PS is surely only making a joke as seen by their smily face.
