He's been picked, they like him and his pictures will be in the catalogue.

AIBU to be thrilled?

I'm so excited!

My boy has made it. Am I the highlight of middle class yet? Grin

Disclaimer; never get to keep the clothes.

But I hope you’ll be more Mrs Radcliffe than Mrs Culken

I've no idea what this means Blush ignorance is bliss!

My friend’s ds was spotted in Waitrose Grin and took payment as part clothes, part cash. Got paid loads. Not having an agent and going direct with Boden obviously pays!

ladybirdsarelovely33 · 14/04/2018 21:55

Daniel Radcliffe's mum as opposed to McCauley Culken's mum is what pp means.

All the best ! I would be over the moon!
Good to get children earning their keep Grin

Congrats op!

Ps4hell · 14/04/2018 21:58

The winking face seems to have escaped you all Hmm

CurlyhairedAssassin · 14/04/2018 21:59

“He's a baby that's not yet mobile”

Perfect answer to the joy-removing soul that is pS4hell!

JoanOfNarc · 14/04/2018 21:59

Well done Star

TerfsUp · 14/04/2018 22:00

I am happy for you, OP! That is very exciting news.

Jannilost · 14/04/2018 22:02

Ooh well done. Come on round to the nearest hundred?

daydrinker · 14/04/2018 22:02

We admittedly don't shop in Waitrose, our area doesn't have one. Was handy, property is somewhat cheaper when all you have nearby is Asda and Iceland Wink

Whilst we were waiting, they were quizzing the older children with that Q&A thing they do on the catalogues.

For example, "What is your dream job?"
Lucy: "To be a Dr like mummy but wear a princess dress"

DS came away with about £70 for it, so not as much as some seem to think!

He was only there for an hour though, if that

Awe well done.

My DC's both did modelling when younger and had some lovely experiences and like a pp said a nice little wad in their back accounts which will now come in handy as they approach their uni years (yes believe it or not they managed to do well academically as well) 😜

Ignore the self righteous judge people!

daydrinker · 14/04/2018 22:07

venet Thank you!

I was going for a Whitney Houston look, so didn't want to put it online for people I know to see.

Wanted to play it cool but I need to share my happiness with someone other than DH, who's never even heard of Boden

venetian25 · 14/04/2018 22:11

Yes I know what you mean, I never used to talk about it to RL friends and it's actually how I found forums all those years ago, there used to be a child modelling thread (possibly still is) lots of support and somewhere you could proudly talk about jobs without being judged.

Jannilost · 14/04/2018 22:12

Just remember as they get older please do keep making sure they still want to do it.
Also definitely save some money back, could create a nice nest egg for him.

AnnieAnoniMouser · 14/04/2018 22:16

Aww bless, he must be a super cutie 😊

LeighaJ · 14/04/2018 22:17

What's Boden? Confused

LittleBird74 · 14/04/2018 22:18

Well done, fab job to get! I’m sure the pictures will be lovely :)

My son models, Boden requested extra photos of him but we didn’t hear any further unfortunately.

Mamabear4180 · 14/04/2018 22:19

I have a friend who's daughter models for boden. She on posters and everything. Her other 2 children are models too and they've all been in adverts etc. She isn't middle class..

It's actually not something I'd do with my kids because her life is chaotic and they miss a lot of school but yours is a baby so no doubt it will be bloody cute. Congrats!
