The Rosenstein firing rumour has been around for at least a week. I got a tiny sniff of a hint of it before I left for So California last Tuesday.

I think it will happen and we'll be facing another Constitutional Crisis a la the Saturday Night Massacre. The only problem is that I don't see the current GOP in Congress rising in protest against Scrotus as the GOP did against Nixon in '73. Even then it took nine months and plenty of shenanigans before Nixon said "If I've lost the party, I've lost the Presidency" and to resign.

It's now April. The mid-terms are seven months away. The current GOP has a vested interest in keeping Scrotus in office as long as possible. And a lot of damage can be done in seven months.
