To not bother wearing a bra?

I personally find them uncomfortable. I don’t like how they dig in at the back and the straps annoy me.

Obviously not having a go at people who prefer to wear one, but is it ‘wrong’ to go without?

Mine hurt too much in the run up to my period that I would be in too much discomfort to not wear one. In fact, during the week / 10 days before my period I have to wear a bra at night as it's simply too painful without.
But that's me. I think it's entirely up to each woman whether she wears a bra or not.

If you want saggy, droopy boobs, go ahead. 🤔

villageshop · 11/04/2018 19:19

SomeKnobend You assume too much: 'What you mean is, you'd rather people didn't see it, or that you give a shit that perhaps they would rather not see it.'

That is so not me I can only laugh. I go on naturist holidays where I'm quite happy to be seen stark naked, sitting down or walking along the beach well away from door handles and other random protruberances. As I said in my post, it's dangerous to have my breasts swinging around willy nilly. I don't mind at all who sees them but I don't like it when they get caught or stabbed by random objects.

If i didn't wear a bra, I'd be constantly tripping over my knockers.

Pebbles16 · 11/04/2018 19:36

Having been blessed/cursed with the boobs, I find them easier to handle when strapped in. I can do a couple of hours at the weekend but it gets a bit sweaty under there and far too swingy for me.

KatharinaRosalie · 11/04/2018 19:38

So, OP has not been back?

Baubletrouble43 · 11/04/2018 19:42

I only wear one because my boobs make a slapping noise when I move around otherwise !

AlonsosLeftPinky · 11/04/2018 19:42

Wear whatever you like!

But if your bra digs in and is uncomfortable then you're wearing the wrong size.

RedForFilth · 11/04/2018 20:19

Wear whatever you like I don't think most people will care! I've noticed people not wearing bras a few times but all I think is good for them for being comfortable! I have quite big boobs and need a bra to be comfortable!

milliegeobotandyou · 11/04/2018 22:13

I wouldn't if I could get away with it but they just look weird in tops without.

lurchermummy · 12/04/2018 00:22

As a 34J a bra is totally essential. I simply can't imagine these great knockers swinging about all day. Nice to take it off at the end of the day though.

NameChangedForThisQ · 12/04/2018 00:36

Feel too uncomfortable without a bra. Not other peoples reactions. The physical feeling.

villageshop · 12/04/2018 01:14

Thanks NameChangedForThisQ and lurchermummy, it seems to me people who don't have enormous knockers haven't a clue how it is to actually live with enormous knockers.

That's probably why they are called 'knockers' - they were forever knocking into things.

bellsbuss · 12/04/2018 01:18

I have no choice as I'm a 32F , how I love that feeling when I take it off at night. Bliss

Godowneasy · 12/04/2018 02:51

I had reconstruction following a double mastectomy and often go braless. I didn't have any nipples reconstructed though, so don't have a 'nipply' problem when wearing a thin top.

whathaveiforgottentoday · 12/04/2018 02:56

34 HH and most definitely don't go out without a bra, but whip it off as soon as possible when home.
If I run without a bra they make slappy noise plus now i'm nearly 50 my nipples would hang out the bottom of a shortish top which is most definitely not a good look on anybody.
oh to be able to go without a bra ....... wistful thinking ....

goldopals · 12/04/2018 03:36

I'm a C cup and avoid wearing bras as much as possible. However, as I'm a teacher, I have to wear one to hide my nipples, especially since I got both pierced.
