This is an attempt to intimidate the innocent family. Flowers should be removed - isn’t it littering?

The police were very wrong to let those flowers to be put there in the first place.

You have an unhealthy obsession with vulnerable, aged pensioners Creambun2

I don't think the thread was inciting racial hatred.

Just wondering why the grieving family has chosen to mourn there. The man died robbing pensioners. He did not die saving babies and kittens from a burning building.

Hardly something or someone to be proud of or to publicly acknowledge in such a flamboyant way.

Elendon · 10/04/2018 18:36

So on this thread are huge amount of posts pointing towards anecdotal tales of how all travellers are wicked, thieves, nasty, feral etc. But my posts are the ones being highlighted and I'm advised, in the nicest possible way, to be in need of help; obviously, I'm deranged.

I get the feeling that if I killed someone who broke into my house tonight I would not get the same sympathy, despite being deranged.

Mydoghatesthebath · 10/04/2018 18:37

prick racist how lovely

Elendon quire see how you can sympathise with these hideous criminals.

carbuncleonapigsposterior · 10/04/2018 18:37

I agree Personwithhorse, race seems to be a misnomer, white travellers appear to be of the same ethnicity as the indigenous population of Britain and Ireland.

I think this is awful. Though people glamorised the Krays, so nothing new.

Mightymucks · 10/04/2018 18:38

person, you mean Rathkeale? These travellers don’t have houses in Rathkeale. They have lived on Star Lane in Orpington for donkeys years and turned the area to shit.

My in laws live near Rathkeale and the travelers there aren’t so bad. They wouldn’t have anything to do with the lot from down Star Lane, they’re not respectable enough for them.

They were also climbing up on the fences to do it. Surely the police ought to be able to do something about that.

Elendon · 10/04/2018 18:41

Race has nothing to do with colour of the skin. Please educate yourselves.

Mightymucks · 10/04/2018 18:42

carbuncle, nobody is really sure about their origins. I think the best guess is that they’re hybrid Romani/Irish and that they may have been in Ireland as a distinct group as early as the 12th century. Some people also started travelling during the Irish famine and the lines between Romani/Irish became blurred.

Birdsgottafly · 10/04/2018 18:42

The Equality Act took over from all the other Acts. under it, people who have a shared Culture, Religion, Shared History, Geographical background etc, are covered.

If you are going to be spouting about something I least know what you are talking about.

Personwithhorse since the arse dropped out of Ireland, they are valid economic migrants.

Mightymucks · 10/04/2018 18:43

Many of them have been DNA tested in a study and they are a distinct genetic group.

Birdsgottafly · 10/04/2018 18:43

Actually Personwithhorse you defined them yourself, as an ethic group, by using Tinker.

stitchglitched · 10/04/2018 18:43

And choice of drink has nothing to do with someone's vulnerability.

They're bringing in police horses now. Poor residents of that street.

ChelleDawg2020 · 10/04/2018 18:44

The flowers are a clear attempt to intimidate the locals. I think both sides see it as one community pitted against another. I believe that the people leaving the flowers view the residents as being as "guilty" as the man who defended himself.

I was disgusted to read the (semi-literate) remarks of one of the criminal's family, claiming he shouldn't be vilified because he wasn't a murderer or a rapist. No, just a cunt who thought that breaking into people's homes and threatening them was a good way to make a living.

GorgeousJaws · 10/04/2018 18:45

Disrespectful arseholes, purposely putting them there in complete defiance, intimidating and rude.

They ought to feel a little more ashamed of the thieving bully.

Mightymucks · 10/04/2018 18:45

birds the travellers in this case are not migrants, economic or otherwise.
