he's staying up an extra hour to watch tv when I say I'm going to bed 🙄 what a waste of first day smooth legs and the extra time it takes to shave them on a precious Sunday evening.

WIBU to never shave again and let my legs turn in to big hairy beasts?

YANBU

I am half woman with subtle lowlights, red lip stick and age appropriate Zara above the waist. Below the waist I am half Sasquatch and I don't think DH has even noticed.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 08/04/2018 22:33

Did you get them out and show him?

DontCallMeCharlotte · 08/04/2018 22:34

Is he watching the golf by any chance?

Believeitornot · 08/04/2018 22:34

Tell him. He’s not a mind reader.

Blushlove · 08/04/2018 22:34

I better add lighthearted

flowerslemonade · 08/04/2018 22:34

yes grow it really long and see if he says anything lol

Idontbelieveinthemoon · 08/04/2018 22:34

I've not shaved mine in months. I'm calling it a science experiment but in actuality I'm loving the warmth and considering becoming one of those ladies you see on the beach, hair everywhere, pleased as punch with their centaur legs.

Why do we even need to shave them? Who is it for? I've been at it for the best part of 20 years and it's the most pointless thing on earth; warm, plaitable fur on your legs is the future!

@DontCallMeCharlotte funny you say that, he said he was staying up to watch the film that was on but when I just nipped down to grab something it had changed to the golf!

He knew what I was getting

Ooh ooh, and get matching lowlights on your legs!

Blushlove · 08/04/2018 22:38

@flowerslemonade he actually complains if they're anything past 3 days in and he catches them in the bed 🙄 this is why he should be making the most of the smoothness Grin

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 08/04/2018 22:38

That was to KC

Blushlove · 08/04/2018 22:39

@PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks great idea, I'm fairly pale so I think I'll go for jet black!

Blushlove · 08/04/2018 22:40

@PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks 😂 I thought you meant for me to die my leg hair once it's grown to hairy beast standards

I'm a seasonal shaver. I tend to cut regularly between April and October, much like mowing the lawn Grin

I haven't touched my legs in years. DH doesn't seem to have noticed. And if he has, he doesn't seem to care. I guess it's just about the prickles of stubble. Grow it out, so no stubble problem!

DontCallMeCharlotte · 08/04/2018 22:45

Sadly watching McIlroy will always trump newly smooth legs in the eyes of the nation's manhood tonight. And he's only on the 11th hole.

Goes off to check battery situation...

I remember standing in a corridor waiting for a lesson to start at university, and overhearing a girl opposite me telling her friend she hadn't shaved her legs in two weeks. (forget which, think it was weeks). I hadn't ever shaved my legs at that point. I did try, once, but didn't manage to remove it all. My leg hair isn't particularly dark, and I don't care much about it. I do use hair removal cream on my armpits though (usually in summer when I'm more likely to wear vest tops/the occasional swimming costume).

kittensinmydinner1 · 08/04/2018 22:49

Personally I like it to be long enough to plait . Gives me something to do when the bloody internet goes off ( roll on end of GCSEs and the late night internet curfew) ...

KC225 · 08/04/2018 22:50

Perfectkysym matching low light on my legs - I could do a perm and would go big rollers if I could keep my knees together.

Spoony84 · 08/04/2018 22:51

I have a 3 month old which means Im unbelievably hairy along along with the lady garden. I'm trying to gather my energy to tackle it all one day but meh...
