To be devastated at the demise of the Labour Party, and to wonder how anyone can look at themselves in the mirror if they vote for Corbyn now?

Just that really.

Been a Labour supporter all my life, til the last election. Because hell will freeze over before I will vote for Jeremy Corbyn.

I am literally devastated at the demise of the Labour party, that has been systematically destroyed from the inside out, by Corbyn and his cronies, and by Corbyn's pathetic behaviour. From his denial of bad behaviour from his party, to the way he shuts down anyone who challenges him. (Including reporters, and his own people ..... if they don't agree with everything he says, he sacks them.)

In the last election, for the first time ever in my life, I was unable to vote, because I am not voting for Conservatives. (Even so, if I HAD to vote by law, I would vote for Conservatives before I would vote for Labour.)

The Labour party is dying a slow and painful death, and is a laughing stock. First of all we have the standing joke that is Corbyn, with his bizarre 'extreme-left' bollocks, and refusing to answer any questions that don't suit him, .......'Mr Corbyn what about the antisemitism in in your party?' 'YES it is a nice day isn't it? Thank you, goodbye!' Fucking twit! Hmm

And then we have his ludicrous and laughable cronies... Diane 'can't count for toffee' Abbott, Monroe 'bigoted ranty' Bergdorf, and now Eddie fucking Izzard in a dress. Hmm

Even people I know who were obsessive Corbynites a year or so ago, are cringing with embarrassment now, as he turns the party into more of a laughing stock every day. And as I said in the thread title, how can anyone POSSIBLY support him and the Labour party now?

That's it really. I am literally so gutted at the demise of my party.

Until Corbyn fucks off and takes his cronies with him, Labour is dead to me. And I know a LOT of people who think the same!

R.I.P. The Labour Party. 😢😢😢

So much hate for the Tory’s simply because they are having to tighten the belt to clear up Labours borrowing mess.

And Corbyn’s solution: ramp up the spending again by borrowing a load more money

People thinking that Corbyn will offer their children a brighter future: do you use payday loans to pay for household budget items? Or try and live within your means even if it means hard choices every month.

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2018 07:25

"Yes, Ghost, believe it or not. Jews have a variety of opinions. It's almost like they are like other people, isn't it. What an idiot."
Well quite. So can you explain what's wrong with Corbyn spending Passover with this particular group of Jews? That's a genuine question, by the way. At first glance they seem to be Jewish people who don't support the Government of Israel.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/04/2018 07:28

Samatha, national debt has risen under the Tories. Idea that Tories are strong on the economy is nonsense.

gussyfinknottle · 03/04/2018 07:28

I thought Corbyn was an atheist. Why is he faking a respect for religious affiliation?

JessTessMess · 03/04/2018 07:30

Well I have to wonder if JC chose that group of Jewish people because it was one of the few Jewish groups that would welcome him at this point. I’ve been out of labour since shortly before the last election.

gussyfinknottle · 03/04/2018 07:32

It's almost as he is playing tokenism to assuage the yawning cracks in the Labour Party. Anyone would think he was a conniving little toad.

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2018 07:36

"I thought Corbyn was an atheist. Why is he faking a respect for religious affiliation?"
Sorry? I really don't understand this-are you saying he shouldn't have spent Passover with anyone?

Samantha77hat · 03/04/2018 07:39

Privatised railways in uk have been an expensive disaster

They are about a million times better than British Rail days, has it occurred to you that we don’t have the right cultural attitude to run concerns like that in the UK.

In Germany the unions are a lot more powerful than here but they understand that the companies need to run well for everyone to remain employed and they make tough decisions

In the uk an example of a unionised workforce are tube train drivers. A friend of a friend is one and she is not the brightest yet earns £50k in her role with 5 weeks paid holiday a year. The union has negotiated that if workers take up to 5 days sick per quarter, there is no need for any follow up. So every quarter (13 weeks) if she hasn’t been off sick) she books a holiday and goes somewhere like Dubai, phoning in sick on the Monday and this is accepted practice

This is what unions are about in the uk and the reason why we have to fear them. Corbyn is in control of Labour as Len McLusky of Unite sees a puppet that he can control. John McDonell is a vindictive idiologue who celebrated the global financial crisis that triggered all the current austerity as he thought it would end capitalism

Both of them massive fans of unions

If you think the trains are bad now, firstly, they aren’t, they’re the best they have ever been. And they’ll be a lot worse once the loony left come in.

Calledyoulastnightfromglasgow · 03/04/2018 07:41

I can’t stand any of them. The tories are immoral in terms of the most vulnerable. Labour is now just awful. I am in Scotland and cannot stand the nationalists. The greens support the nationalists. Libdems a joke.

I have nowhere to go!!

Gottagetmoving · 03/04/2018 07:41

they are a group of Jewish people who, like many others both Jewish and non Jewish who are very unhappy with the policies of the Israeli government. Is that really such an inappropriate group for Corbyn to spend Passover with?

Jews disagree with other Jews, ..like any other groups or denominations...Maybe the answer is that Corbyn should not meet with any Jews at all...but wait, then he would be accused of being an anti Semite!... Or maybe he should not meet with anyone until it's been approved by the right wing media?
Just remember that Corbyn has fought discrimination of all kinds throughout his career, when other politicians on both sides were openly racist and homophobic. It's a bloody joke that he is accused of being anti Semitic.

gussyfinknottle · 03/04/2018 07:46

Of course he shouldn't have spent a religious holiday with anyone! He's trying to prove a feeble point. The significance of Passover means nothing to him other than getting his face in a photo with Jewish people to "prove" he's not anti-Semitic. Ghastly tokenism.

gussyfinknottle · 03/04/2018 07:51

If he wanted to prove he has no truck with bigots he should have stood up to that pray at the event when the antisemitism Report was published.

gussyfinknottle · 03/04/2018 07:51

Prat not pray! Ha.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 03/04/2018 07:52

Having had a look at today’s headlines most have gone along with the lines Corbyn choice he made was irresponsible of all the groups he could have chosen

I have long said Corbyn is an agitator I am sure Ken Livingstone pulled a similar trick a few years back

Nail in coffin but who is going to replace saintly Corbyn McDonnell, Long-Bailey, Rayner not much of a choice

It’s all history repeating itself

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/04/2018 07:55

Nothing will ever be good enough. Thankfully I don’t take guidance from those who get their beliefs and economics from the gutter press.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 03/04/2018 08:02

It’s not just right wing press though isn’t even headline news on the DM website but it is on the Guardian website

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2018 08:02

"Of course he shouldn't have spent a religious holiday with anyone!"

Oh right. So it's not Jewdas you object to- it's him spending Passover with anyone? Would you have objected if he had gone to the Easter Service at his parish church?

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2018 08:03

"Corbyn choice he made was irresponsible of all the groups he could have chosen" Can you explain why?

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 03/04/2018 08:10

Bertrand go to the BBC website or The Guardian it’s reported in full as headline news

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/04/2018 08:12

The attacks on corbyn are pathetic. MSM are are so scared. Desperate times.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 03/04/2018 08:15

Scared of what Confused

That line was used last year Labour are still in opposition .... and by anyone’s standards Labour are a poor opposition lead by poor leadership

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2018 08:17

“Bertrand go to the BBC website or The Guardian it’s reported in full as headline news”

I’ve already done that. Can’t see the problem.

Gottagetmoving · 03/04/2018 08:18

Corbyn choice he made was irresponsible of all the groups he could have chosen

Whatever 'group' he chose would have been wrong in somebody's eyes.
He shouldn't mix with Muslims, he shouldn't mix with Jewish people unless they are the 'right' Jewish people... He mixes with British people...they are all British...but obviously, not the 'right' sort of British 😒

merrymouse · 03/04/2018 08:19

Just remember that Corbyn has fought discrimination of all kinds throughout his career, when other politicians on both sides were openly racist and homophobic

Except for when he is supporting leaders of racist and homophobic regimes.

I don’t think he is racist or homophobic, but he has spent most of his life as an unknown back bench MP in a safe seat. There have been far more effective campaigners against racism and homophobia.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/04/2018 08:20

The same lines of attack are used against JC all the time. They always fail.
