To be devastated at the demise of the Labour Party, and to wonder how anyone can look at themselves in the mirror if they vote for Corbyn now?

Just that really.

Been a Labour supporter all my life, til the last election. Because hell will freeze over before I will vote for Jeremy Corbyn.

I am literally devastated at the demise of the Labour party, that has been systematically destroyed from the inside out, by Corbyn and his cronies, and by Corbyn's pathetic behaviour. From his denial of bad behaviour from his party, to the way he shuts down anyone who challenges him. (Including reporters, and his own people ..... if they don't agree with everything he says, he sacks them.)

In the last election, for the first time ever in my life, I was unable to vote, because I am not voting for Conservatives. (Even so, if I HAD to vote by law, I would vote for Conservatives before I would vote for Labour.)

The Labour party is dying a slow and painful death, and is a laughing stock. First of all we have the standing joke that is Corbyn, with his bizarre 'extreme-left' bollocks, and refusing to answer any questions that don't suit him, .......'Mr Corbyn what about the antisemitism in in your party?' 'YES it is a nice day isn't it? Thank you, goodbye!' Fucking twit! Hmm

And then we have his ludicrous and laughable cronies... Diane 'can't count for toffee' Abbott, Monroe 'bigoted ranty' Bergdorf, and now Eddie fucking Izzard in a dress. Hmm

Even people I know who were obsessive Corbynites a year or so ago, are cringing with embarrassment now, as he turns the party into more of a laughing stock every day. And as I said in the thread title, how can anyone POSSIBLY support him and the Labour party now?

That's it really. I am literally so gutted at the demise of my party.

Until Corbyn fucks off and takes his cronies with him, Labour is dead to me. And I know a LOT of people who think the same!

R.I.P. The Labour Party. 😢😢😢

totally irrelevant but I loved Sunset Beach!

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 22:37

Ok but we already have economic regulation and wealth redistribution (via a progressive tax system)

I’m not being goody here - genuinely interested - if the current yardstick is in the wrong place (and let’s assume for a moment it is) then how do you know when the yardstick ends up in the right place once you have to Keres with the system?

Or put another way how do you know when you achieve that perfect blend of freedom vs regulation, whilst not putting off business investors while you try and find that Goldilocks zone?

dejarderoncar · 02/04/2018 22:45

Haven't read the full thread so this may have have already been mentioned.
I joined a pro Jeremy Corbyn Face Book group yesterday. I am 72 years old, am not a racist, anti semite or raging lefty, whatever that is. But I was disgusted at the full on onslaught Corbyn and Labour were getting from the usual suspects. It was almost as if it were a coordinated campaign.
Apparently people interested in supporting Corbyn and Labour has shot through the roof in the last few days!! Almost as if some people - like the 40 or so academics that signed a protest letter aimed at the MSM - could see through all the bullshit.
Meanwhile, on another corner of Planet earth, hardly reported on, nor the subject of intense debate on LBC ten times a day or front page headlines, Palestinians were dying as usual and the UN was told to shut up and look the other way. SNAFU

Mydoghatesthebath · 02/04/2018 22:50

Oh Jeremy go to bed now

SunsetBeetch · 02/04/2018 23:00

It was fantastically bonkers wasn't it? Grin

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43620717

Both the Guardian and BBC are reporting Momentum declaring that antisemitism is more widespread than it understood.....

PoorYorick · 02/04/2018 23:05

Haven't read the full thread

You should.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 02/04/2018 23:07

Momentum have also said there is no rightwing spear or conspiracy

That must have been painful for them

SnowJokeAnymore · 02/04/2018 23:10

Sunset Beech.

Thanks for that link.

I found the gift of beetroot from the allotment rather touching.

SnowJokeAnymore · 02/04/2018 23:10

No rightwing conspiracy?!

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 02/04/2018 23:12

It said in a statement: "Accusations of anti-Semitism should not and cannot be dismissed simply as right-wing smears."

PoorYorick · 02/04/2018 23:15

Momentum have also said there is no rightwing spear or conspiracy

That must have been painful for them

What else could they say? The facts are so clear and plain, Momentum wouldn't retain a shred of credibility among people who can see and think if they claimed that they're all made up.

It's not smearing to report that someone cuddles up to hate mongers when they fucking DO.

SnowJokeAnymore · 02/04/2018 23:22

Is it wrong to laugh though?

ghostyslovesheets · 02/04/2018 23:23

oh god it was - just mad - I loved Annie so much!

Bejazzled · 02/04/2018 23:26

sunsetbeetch

Just read that as well. Incredible

Jewdas Hmm

user3546546 · 03/04/2018 00:02

Corbyn doesn't give a shit about the working class. Ironically, there was a swing to the Tories in the last election in Labour's northern heartlands. He doesn't need their votes anymore, he has a whole new demographic who will happily vote for him and those are the votes he is courting.

merrymouse · 03/04/2018 00:10

I think Corbyn’s interests are foreign policy and jam. He is clearly popular with his constituents, but would rather be on his allotment or talking about Cuba than working on the details of NHS funding with colleagues. Labour domestic policy is driven by John McDonnell.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 03/04/2018 00:18

So despite this antisemitism, Corbyn could have chosen to meet with the Board of Deputies, the Jewish Leadership Council, the Jewish Labour Movement or another mainstream Jewish group. Instead he went to Seder with Jewdas, a far-left group which is shunned by mainstream Jews and called for the Israel to be “disposed of”.

Corbyn sat there for several hours and brought fucking beetroot from his allotment as a gift.

gussyfinknottle · 03/04/2018 06:35

"Well they was Jews weren't they. Corbyn ain't anti- semi'ic 'cos he's bin in a room wiv Jews."
Makes me sick.

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2018 06:59

I haven't heard of Jewdas before-but a quick Google seems to indicate that they are a group of Jewish people who, like many others both Jewish and non Jewish who are very unhappy with the policies of the Israeli government. Is that really such an inappropriate group for Corbyn to spend Passover with?

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/04/2018 07:03

The wrong type of Jews apparently. That’s today’s stick to beat Corbyn with.

gussyfinknottle · 03/04/2018 07:14

Yes, Ghost, believe it or not. Jews have a variety of opinions. It's almost like they are like other people, isn't it. What an idiot.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/04/2018 07:18

You should tell that to the right wing press who are full of faux outrage Over the latest “scandal”.

Mydoghatesthebath · 03/04/2018 07:24

Morning campers ironically jam but not Jerusalem.
