To be devastated at the demise of the Labour Party, and to wonder how anyone can look at themselves in the mirror if they vote for Corbyn now?

snowagain · 02/04/2018 08:56

Just that really.

Been a Labour supporter all my life, til the last election. Because hell will freeze over before I will vote for Jeremy Corbyn.

I am literally devastated at the demise of the Labour party, that has been systematically destroyed from the inside out, by Corbyn and his cronies, and by Corbyn's pathetic behaviour. From his denial of bad behaviour from his party, to the way he shuts down anyone who challenges him. (Including reporters, and his own people ..... if they don't agree with everything he says, he sacks them.)

In the last election, for the first time ever in my life, I was unable to vote, because I am not voting for Conservatives. (Even so, if I HAD to vote by law, I would vote for Conservatives before I would vote for Labour.)

The Labour party is dying a slow and painful death, and is a laughing stock. First of all we have the standing joke that is Corbyn, with his bizarre 'extreme-left' bollocks, and refusing to answer any questions that don't suit him, .......'Mr Corbyn what about the antisemitism in in your party?' 'YES it is a nice day isn't it? Thank you, goodbye!' Fucking twit! Hmm

And then we have his ludicrous and laughable cronies... Diane 'can't count for toffee' Abbott, Monroe 'bigoted ranty' Bergdorf, and now Eddie fucking Izzard in a dress. Hmm

Even people I know who were obsessive Corbynites a year or so ago, are cringing with embarrassment now, as he turns the party into more of a laughing stock every day. And as I said in the thread title, how can anyone POSSIBLY support him and the Labour party now?

That's it really. I am literally so gutted at the demise of my party.

Until Corbyn fucks off and takes his cronies with him, Labour is dead to me. And I know a LOT of people who think the same!

R.I.P. The Labour Party. 😢😢😢

I think you need to look up the definition of fact. Really embarrassing yourself now.

Justanotherlurker · 02/04/2018 20:25

What's that? Her race, her sex. What evidence do toy have for such a stupid bigoted argument. What evidence do you have that she has a low IQ?

You made the comparison that Boris was just as much bigoted, low intelligence as Daine, so go ahead, you first ....

Justanotherlurker · 02/04/2018 20:27

I think you need to look up the definition of fact. Really embarrassing yourself now.

Says someone who posts links to shitty blogs and the canary....

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 20:27

The real fact is that jc has nothing to offer the wider electorate outside of platitudes, hand wringing and the political suicide of a once proud party

Moussemoose · 02/04/2018 20:28

The Tories are racist bigots so that means the left can do anything and that's ok?

Gabbyleo · 02/04/2018 20:29

Walkingdeadfangirl

Go and look at the history of how people have constantly used 'low iq' comments to put people down. She comment itself shows the racism that you have inside but carry kg denying. Don't worry it's hard to actually admit you have institutionalised racist and even sexist views. Boris Johnson a white man is a 'clever idiot'? Putting that women's life at risk in Iran was clever? Going around the world and constantly lying through his teeth is clever?

Mydoghatesthebath · 02/04/2018 20:29

Gabby

‘All white people love to play divide and rule’

‘West Indian mothers will go to the wall for their children’

‘10,000 police officers will cost £300,000’

‘Mao on balance did more good than evil’

‘Every defeat of the British state by the IRA is a victory for the British people’

Really Dianne isn’t stupid, racist and incompetent? You have a very very low bar

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 20:29

Mousse moose - ah but the comrades are held to different standards of course - was ever thus

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 20:31

Gabby - abbots iq is neither here nor there - can you really describe her as a valued and effective politician anywhere outside of the Islington bubble?

Justanotherlurker · 02/04/2018 20:34

The Tories are racist bigots so that means the left can do anything and that's ok?

And yet if we was to really look at that in isolation the ex bnp members and councillors joined labour ...

GhostofFrankGrimes · 02/04/2018 20:35

Gabby - abbots iq is neither here nor there - can you really describe her as a valued and effective politician anywhere outside of the Islington bubble?

what is the Islington bubble? Given Rees Mogg is being touted as a future Tory leader what does he have in common with ex mining communites in the north east?

Walkingdeadfangirl · 02/04/2018 20:36

Gabbyleo Stupidity isn't a race, so it cant be racism. I meant the comment about her low IQ to put her down, thought that was obvious.

The evidence comes purely out of her mouth, like her inability to do simple maths as quoted by PP, thinking a police officer gets paid £30 a year etc She is dum, plain and simple.

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 20:38

Ghost of - rees mogg has nothing in common with former miners in the north east.

And neither does the current version of the Labour Party.

The difference is that the Tory party - my comparison - isn’t falling into irrelevance through niche views!

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 02/04/2018 20:39

Momentum are now saying that accusations of anti semitism are not right wing smears or a conspiracy but is has become apparent that unconscious anti Jewish bias is an issue

Well who would have thought ....

Yet this has be used as an opportunity to attack Corbyn Shock what people expect the leader of the party to take control and deal with the issue surely not

Education, health care and transport are niche views? Hmm ok.

Moussemoose · 02/04/2018 20:42

The mural isn't ok it just isn't.

Antisemitism is wrong, holocaust denial isn't a minor transgression.

The Tories are a disgrace, racism is rife and the poor are being abandoned, but we just can't ignore antisemitism.

We need a leader to stand firm and ...lead the way. And if you can't do that then for the love of God resign and let someone else do it.

But please, please don't dismiss the mural if you can't see the evil in that then shame on you. If the Labour Party stands for anything it is fighting this kind of evil. To dismiss and diminish the fight against evil - and antisemitism is evil - is to dismiss and diminish the party.

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 20:42

In any event, at least rees mogg is proud of our country. Jc and his fellow travellers do not believe in this country. They believe in our enemies like the ira, like Hamas. They emulate poor and cruel left wing regimes around the world. The current Labour Party is little more than a meeting place for the mad, the sad, the dispossessed and those not honest enough to realise that there own failures are their own fault. Not capitalism and not the west.

Justanotherlurker · 02/04/2018 20:44

IRA councillor welcomed back to Tory bosom

And... Isn't corbyns stance that it's good to speak to both sides of the debate, out right racists though is surely something that should be picked up on.

I mean under your current name you was not so unforgiving in the past of UKIP having a "few bad apples".

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 20:44

Ghost of - I see momentum agree anti semitism is a problem.

Watching the Labour Party eat itself...

GhostofFrankGrimes · 02/04/2018 20:48

Yes, I'm sure he is

when all else fails revert to the patriotism. Last refuge of a scoundrel and all that.

They emulate poor and cruel left wing regimes around the world

when what they should be doing is emulating austerity, bed room tax and the rise in food banks right?

Mightymucks · 02/04/2018 20:49

Abbots IQ is very high. She went to Oxford or Cambridge to read History at a time when it was very unusual for black women to do so.

It’s not her IQ which worries me. It’s her capability. I’ve had quite a long period working in a top university with top academics who are the people with the highest IQ in the country. Put them in front of their specialisation, engineering, robots, driverless cars, medieval history or European economics - they will shine like the experts they undoubtedly are.

But High IQ doesn’t necessarily translate to capability. Which is why when you find somebody with a very high IQ they normally have a team of people around them organising meetings and setting and tracking budgets and keeping essential allies sweet and onside.

Abbott has never appeared to either have her own organisational skills or the capability of working as part of a team to ameliorate her lack of skills.

I totally accept Abbott’s IQ. I do not accept her capability. She has zero tact or statesmanship. She has a singularly unempathetic personality which is extremely hard to like or support.

She’s only in the position she’s in now because Corbyn has so few options. After all, if it was just IQ which made a good MP; Smith, Blair, Brown and Miliband would have been beating a track to her door when they quite pointedly weren’t.

Heyduggeesflipflop · 02/04/2018 20:54

You don’t know how well off you are do you? If all you have to moan about at a national level are austerity (or balancing the nations books), bed room tax (why not move to a smaller council house and let a family on the waiting list get what they need?) or food banks (or let’s call it poor household money management) then you are living in la la land.

In many countries there is war. No rule of law. Walking miles to fetch fresh water. No basic sanitation.

Snowflake is the right term. You neither understand the world around you nor would know what to do with power, even if you achieved it.

Justanotherlurker · 02/04/2018 20:57

when all else fails revert to the patriotism. Last refuge of a scoundrel and all that.

Do you have any actual understand that JC and co are just dressing up patriotism in a socialist angle? looks like you could have been taken in by the media

One side bad, other side good...
