To be devastated at the demise of the Labour Party, and to wonder how anyone can look at themselves in the mirror if they vote for Corbyn now?

Just that really.

Been a Labour supporter all my life, til the last election. Because hell will freeze over before I will vote for Jeremy Corbyn.

I am literally devastated at the demise of the Labour party, that has been systematically destroyed from the inside out, by Corbyn and his cronies, and by Corbyn's pathetic behaviour. From his denial of bad behaviour from his party, to the way he shuts down anyone who challenges him. (Including reporters, and his own people ..... if they don't agree with everything he says, he sacks them.)

In the last election, for the first time ever in my life, I was unable to vote, because I am not voting for Conservatives. (Even so, if I HAD to vote by law, I would vote for Conservatives before I would vote for Labour.)

The Labour party is dying a slow and painful death, and is a laughing stock. First of all we have the standing joke that is Corbyn, with his bizarre 'extreme-left' bollocks, and refusing to answer any questions that don't suit him, .......'Mr Corbyn what about the antisemitism in in your party?' 'YES it is a nice day isn't it? Thank you, goodbye!' Fucking twit! Hmm

And then we have his ludicrous and laughable cronies... Diane 'can't count for toffee' Abbott, Monroe 'bigoted ranty' Bergdorf, and now Eddie fucking Izzard in a dress. Hmm

Even people I know who were obsessive Corbynites a year or so ago, are cringing with embarrassment now, as he turns the party into more of a laughing stock every day. And as I said in the thread title, how can anyone POSSIBLY support him and the Labour party now?

That's it really. I am literally so gutted at the demise of my party.

Until Corbyn fucks off and takes his cronies with him, Labour is dead to me. And I know a LOT of people who think the same!

Abbot was the daughter of Jamaican migrants from a working class family, went to Cambridge and managed to become the FIRST black female in the houses of commons. That's doesn't sound like much of a low IQ idiot to me.

You really can't deny that the way Dianne is treated and abused has nothing to do with her race or sex. It's absolutely disgusting!

dadshere, why isn’t it possible to do all those things and competently deal with complaints about antisemitism?

This has been rumbling on for days because rather than taking action when the allegations surfaced, Labour has been far more interested in whataboutery. Why did Christine Shawcross take so long to resign? Why are Labour MPs still retweeting and supporting people who support anti Semitic conspiracy theories? Why should anyone have faith in Jeremy Corbyn as a prime minister if he can’t lead on this?

This isn’t about being on the left or right wing of the party - if Corbyn can’t be an effective leader and there is public support for left wing policies, find somebody else to lead.

What speaks volumes here is that the Tories have been embarked in civil war over Brexit for 2 years (The Mays/Hammonds vs Rees Mogg) and not a peep in the press.

Again this shows up your lack of real political understanding, brexit was not a tory/labour, right/left issue, if it was then many people would have more background knowledge and stop projecting onto corbyn and labours routes...

Abbott is a problem because she’s a racist incompetent idiot. Even Corbyn saw they and pulled her off the media circuit during the election.

I agree Boris is a disgrace snd equality incompetent.

Neither is sacked because Corbyn has very few other supporters as MPs willing to served him snd Theresa is keeping Boris close because he’s a threat on the back benches.

An incompetent verses politically astute.

Keep it going - every thread like this, every week in the press like the one you have just had and every ill conceived utterance by a incompetent front bench take you baby steps closer to irrelevance. Normal people who have a stake in society and couldn’t give a monkeys about things like Palestine simply wont vote for you. You become irrelevant by degrees and remote from normal peoples lives.

Not good for our democracy but a price worth paying if it keeps the crazies away from the grown up reins of power.
