No Easter fun at school?

Ok so probably going to get loads of horrible replies here saying I'm a pushy mother haha but my DD has just started at a CE Primary school and they basically do nothing to celebrate Easter apart from an assembly. I was with some friends with my youngest DC at a playgroup yesterday whose older children are at other schools and they were saying " oh we've got to decorate an Easter Bonnet later for the parade" or " We've got to decorate two eggs for the Easter egg competition " suppose it's quite good in a way that I haven't got the extra hassle but then part of me feels that it's a bit mean he's not getting to do these fun things too.

Oh the joys of not having to participate in senseless nonsense lol
I have no idea what my dd does at these times during school as I don't participate (unless there's some sort of show/play etc) but i don't think she'd be missing out on anything if they didn't do anything at all.
I mean at the end of the day I know that certain beliefs aren't taught at school (much to my distaste) so I make sure dd is educated on the matter at home which I suppose is actually better because I can make sure that the information she gets is factual and not some made up bullshit.

I think the school is lacking a bit. It should definitely do some kind of Christmas show - it doesn't have to take months of rehearsal (my local Church does a pretty much scratch nativity, anybody can be a Shepherd/sheep/angel, children have one rehearsal as Mary Joseph etc. and an adult/teen narrates). A few Christmas songs, and older infants doing some acting. Lots of educational opportunities - learning stuff by heart, RE, craft in making masks/props/ painting scenery, PE for Dances etc.

For Easter my local schools do Church service, year 6s got to a local site to do poetry inspired by the stations of the cross (and its a pretty evangelical C of E school), voluntary "Easter Garden" Competition, and the little ones have a PTA easter egg hunt (you find a plastic egg to swap for a treat and when the whole class have got one the class gets a treat eg. a new wet play game).

Even the multi-faith C of E Primary schools seem to do a bit more than your village one.

I have DC at a c of e school. My reception DC coloured in some pictures of easter eggs and my year 6 DC did a colouring thing too but the instructions on which colours to use were in French. They normally have an easter service where the reception children show off their easter bonnets they made in class and the older years will recite a poem, read out easter facts or similar. That was cancelled this year because of the snow.
