Arrived home to find our neighbour standing at the sitting room window, in his underwear smoking a fag, taking in the morning breeze.
He gave us a friendly nod and took another drag on his ciggie.
I feel a bit surprised.
Is that unreasonable?
Should I have warned him he might catch a chill?

Well he could have put a t shirt but it's his window if he wants a cig its his business ? It's actually quite pleasent weather wise near me .

The cigarette doesnt bother me. ROund our way, its the least of the problems.

Unfortunately ItSgtartedwithAKiss241, the body attached to the underwear was a milky white carapace holding together a jumble of bones.
At first glance, I didn't notice his lower half had underwear and for a split second I did think he was naked and I think i might have looked a bit startled perhaps prompting his cheery nod, as if to say,
"Its quite alright, I am half dressed"

Dullandold I am a veteran of Mumsnet and I understand that to hold a firm position, ones facts must be in order. So, I went back out for another look to confirm the status of his underwear to underline the truthfulness of my post and not sound like a fantasist.

I caught my neighbour dancing but naked on Friday night. He had clearly forgotten that u can see straight through net curtains when the lights are on. I phoned him in stitches and told him to shut his curtains while blatantly standing at my gate. He cant look me in the eye & I now know that my neighbour is rather fit so it's all good 😂😂

I'm thinking this sort of thing.

One of them puts the light on in the bathroom opposite my kitchen window every time he showers.
I try not to look as he's about 20 and it feels wrong.

One is a bullying slob & he's married. He takes in my parcels & answers the door in his boxers.

One is divorced, 43 & quite fit but I find his attitude to women a bit questionable otherwise I'd be in there ahem.
I look after his cat when he's away & when I call round to get the keys he's often... yes, in his boxers!

When I'm relaxing at home I'm fully dressed in my pjs or usual clothes ffs!
