Mine is everywhere I see everyone has a Pandora charm bracelet on.

Facebook is great. It's a good way of keeping in touch with lots of friends at once and sharing the things that are important to you. I rarely see anyone sharing photos of their lunch or whatever the smug non Facebook users seem to think is the main purpose of the site. It's what you make of it and a very useful tool for me in myriad ways!

Combi boilers are a crock of shit.
Wasting loads of water whilst you wait for the hot to come through.
Washing hands after going to the loo on cold water because you may as well use the cold tap. Using the hot tap means you've washed your hands before the hot comes through so you have paid to heat eater that will sit in a pipe and go cold!

Having to formula feed isn’t the end of the world. I’ve read so many threads of MN with women at the end of their tether with bleeding nipples, low supply, exhaustion and poor latches agonising about getting through the next feed. I think breastfeeding rhetoric has gone too far the other way and made a lot of new mums (me included) feel like they’re poisoning their babies by “not trying hard enough” to BF.

Giving birth shouldn’t be about the “experience”. It’s a major medical event and some of the advice I’ve seen on the childbirth board telling OPs to push for the birth they want against sound medical advice and putting their midwives/consultants in a difficult position, is irresponsible.

Nurses are not martyrs, they are people doing a difficult job and yes they've been shafted with regards to terms of employment just like plenty of other workers have.

My most unpopular opinion is that anyone who has had a child removed from them and put into the care system for abuse or neglect should have enforced contraception until such time that they can prove they are able to care for another child.

I also firmly believe that a vast number of babies who are poor sleepers are poor sleepers because their parents do not know how to introduce good sleep habits and actually facilitate the problems.

Unlike a lot of MNetters I don't think that the majority of unhappy relationships (and low sex drive and even mental illness in women) is caused by men not pulling their weight around the house.
