Mine is everywhere I see everyone has a Pandora charm bracelet on.
Whilst I own the bow necklace and earrings.. I can't see the appeal in the charms :/ yet apparently they're the best thing according to my best friend.

That money doesn’t bring happiness.

Crowd · 24/03/2018 16:23

The sight of all the Easter Eggs piled up in the supermarket actually make me feel queasy.

madein1995 · 24/03/2018 16:25

Children shouldn't be allowed to act however they want around dogs and the dog made to tolerate it. Tell your child no.
My dog is allowed on the furniture - no comments about that
I think girl babies in frilly dresses look adorable (but babies in plain baby gros no less lovely)
Body shaming of any size is unacceptable. 'too skinny' has become fashionable - I may not want to be that size but no right to judge how someone else looks.
cooking smelly meals in communal kitchen is something colleagues have to put up with (I don't like strong fish so not me doing it!) the 2 minutes my pasta is in for isn't enough for the fish curry smell to permeate my food and make it inedible
Prosecco is overrated
Public transport (bus) can be quite nice if you've got headphones etc and can enjoy the journey
Women can wear necklace, bangle and earrings and not look 'too flashy'
Maybe not unusual on here but is in my area in real life - dads aren't being.'good' having the baby while mum goes out. They are being a normal parent and shouldn't be applauded..nor when dad has them for a weekend while mum is off with work/hen do/wgatever, is it ok to dump them with nan all weekend and bugger off down the pub

oohyoudevilyou · 24/03/2018 16:25

I think it's OK to dress little girls in pink if that's what they like and I don't think wearing unisex clothes emancipates anyone. Likewise no confident girl with good self esteem and parents who give her the same opportunities in life as a boy is going to grow up to be an oppressed drudge just because she likes T shirts with unicorns on.

Bluetoo1 · 24/03/2018 16:27

There's no need for fabric conditioner. Modern water systems have water adjusted to soft so that there is little scum and no need for softener.

NotTheFordType · 24/03/2018 16:29

Monogamy is morally dubious at best and impossible at worst.

dontbesillyhenry · 24/03/2018 16:31

The most staunchly religious people have skeletons in their closet and use their religious 'beliefs' as a cover up for said skeletons

Redhound · 24/03/2018 16:32

Well I'm an antinatalist, so that's clearly not going to be popular on Mumsnet!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 24/03/2018 16:33

I'll keep it to my self as I no one is allowed to say it without being jumped on.

Forevertired19 · 24/03/2018 16:33

Bluetoo, completely agree.
I use eco balls as my grandma sufferes with chemical sensitivity. It does the job really well without all the smells and need for softener and detergent :) antibacterial too

I’m always amazed that people quote things that are regularly discussed as being shit and think they have a really unusual viewpoint

Things like Cheryl Cole, Ed Sheeran, Ricky Gervais, Pandora, Boden and leggings are all regularly and enthusiastically slagged off almost everywhere. These are not radical or unusual viewpoints

PennyPIckle · 24/03/2018 16:38

I don’t really rate Adele as a singer... Most don’t agree. Ah well each to their own 🤷🏼‍♀️ Nothing will convince me otherwise

PierceBronhom · 24/03/2018 16:40

Eating animals is wrong and unnecessary for most of us in this day and age. Bringing animals into the world just to live joyless lives of servitude (which is to ignore all the active suffering going on too) to humans shouldn’t be acceptable anymore.

phoenix1973 · 24/03/2018 16:40

Justin Bieder songs are catchy and I like them.

ReinettePompadour · 24/03/2018 16:40

That a number of children in my town would have benefited from a grammar school education given their only option is a high school in the bottom 10% in the country with less than 20% gaining 5 gcses grade c or above.

Redhound · 24/03/2018 16:46

Pierce are you an antinatalist for humans too? As every human born will inevitably suffer and die. In my opinion, humans suffer much more than animals hence I am antinatalist for humans only.

That mammograms and smear tests are an investment in fear

OwlinaTree · 24/03/2018 16:47

Trifle is a brilliant pudding, quite possibly the best pudding.

Purplerain101 · 24/03/2018 16:49

Nights out are over rated! I’d get much more excited about a night in with my OH/Friends/family having some yummy food, drinks and watching a movie. The idea of a night out often sounds fun, but the reality usually involves me feeling bored to death by the 2nd hour and wanting to go home

kingjofferyworksintescos · 24/03/2018 16:51

I like Monday's

Notevilstepmother · 24/03/2018 16:52

I won’t use Amazon.

Redhound · 24/03/2018 16:52

joy the stats seem to back you up to a great extend at least re mammograms. I did go for one recently, a trial for younger women, I did feel reassured by it but am aware of the large risk of false positives

Viviennemary · 24/03/2018 16:56

Too many to list. At least I'm being honest. Grin

CatStacks · 24/03/2018 16:58

that Adele music is boring and depressing
I can't stand bruno mars music either
marmite is gross
walking with shoes in your house is gross especially if you have carpet
fish and chips is overrated

Purplerain101 · 24/03/2018 17:00

@catstacks I agree about marmite. My family all love it but it’s my worst flavour ever. Even the smell of it makes me gag
