To get a shopping trolley?

My DS is now 3 and is far to big to be pushed around in the double pram now and is quite a good walker.

Our supermarket or town centre is 30min walk so not far really (he will sit in trolley for a rest when we get there)......anyway I also have my 9 month old in a mei tai carrier, as she hates her pram. So I don't have anywhere to put my shopping would I look a bugger with a funky print pull along?

So AIBU to get a shopping trolley at 27? Shock[ blush]

I got mine from Ikea. It is waterproof, navy with white large polka dots on it. Rubber wheels. Was about £18 with the orange IKEA Family card discount. Has lasted ages. I use it when I work, taking my kit over fields, its perfect

Shopping trolleys are a lifesaver. Get one! Enjoy it! I put my shopping trolley in the shopping trolley while shopping, if that makes sense.

We have one at our holiday apartment, very common to use them there. I get awful excited about using it

We rented an apartment in Tenerife a few months back and it had a shopping trolley, which was damn useful as the supermarket was 10-15 minutes walk away and we used it a few times to bring all our beer, cava, breakfast food and snacks back.

They wouldn't let us take it round the shop so it had to wait behind the tills with all the other shopping trolleys.

I don't know why people in the UK assume that they are only for 'old ladies' as they are brilliantly useful and for us was a point in favour of not needing to hire a car on holiday, that we could walk easily to the supermarket for booze.

I got mine when I was 22. I'll be 28 soon and I still use it every week!

I'm not embarrassed at all when I take it to Tesco.

I can't, I just can't despite the fact it would make my life unbelievably better Confused

It seems the youngsters are totally fine with them but I'm hmmm, mature shall we say 50 and I still flatly refuse. I'm an idiot I know.

I'm not much older than you and I have one. Got it from Lakeland.

I got it during my first pregnancy because I wasn't suppose to be lifting heavy stuff and it is a godsend now DD is 3 and I'm expecting again.

I leave mine at the front of the shop rather than trailing it round because I use a supermarket trolley in the shop. I was a bit Hmm the first time I left it (even though it was empty!) but I've never had it taken.
