In hospital being monitored after having a massive bleed. 14 weeks pregnant today and DH has brought in a new box of teabags... Yorkshire tea biscuit brew.

It tastes like digestives and I'm in love.

Not seen biscuit brew. Yorkshire tea is the only tea for me. All the best in hospital.

Origamoo · 19/03/2018 19:38

That actually sounds amazing. I must have some!

Magpie24 · 19/03/2018 19:38

Not seen it but all the best. Sounds delicious! Wishing you a speedy recovery.

bandbsmummy · 19/03/2018 19:38

Where we they from? Must get to the shops...

Origamoo · 19/03/2018 19:39

Hope all goes well in hospital of course. Flowers

Rockerfeller · 19/03/2018 19:45

Morrison's according to DH :)

Does it make you want an actual biscuit more or less?

OutyMcOutface · 19/03/2018 20:17

That is really weird but simultaneously genius. I suggest you also try the T2 Hot cross buns tea. I get the feeling that it might just be your cup of tea Wink

Lolimax · 19/03/2018 20:19

I’m following your thread (fab news on the scan!) and now I need those teabags. I normally only drink decaf but I might make an exception. Do you think my DH will go shopping before nights for me??

PuppyMonkey · 19/03/2018 20:20

I’m not sure I fully approve of this. I like a cup of tea to taste like a cup of tea and a biscuit to taste like a biscuit. One with the other goes nicely, but they are two different things.

Bluelady · 19/03/2018 20:22

I want some, where did he buy them?

noshitsherloc · 19/03/2018 20:25

DH is a massive YT fan and sent me a link to this new tea just before I opened this thread! Got to try it- I love their bedtime brew. Ps hope everything is ok, I had 3 very big bleeds between 11-15 weeks and went on to have a good pregnancy, all the best Thanks

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 19/03/2018 20:31

I don't like this. I want my tea to taste of tea, not charity shop sweatshirts... Eew.

sourpatchkid · 19/03/2018 20:33

No no no no no no no!

I've been lurking on your other thread (ThanksThanksSmile) and nearly posted their to express my horror at your consumption of such an item.

Stop right now .. you'll break the babies tea tasting receptors Grin

fuzzyduck33 · 19/03/2018 20:39

I need this in my life!!!

MustBeThin · 19/03/2018 20:41

You need to try Bluebird Tea Co. They have amazing teas including a chocolate digestive one! My tea collection includes gingerbread, choc digestive, peppermint cream, treacle sponge, Christmas cake, Cherry Bakewell and mint chocolate. There Easter specials are hot cross bun and Easter egg nests.

Idontdowindows · 19/03/2018 20:42

I need this tea.

takingsmallsteps · 19/03/2018 20:44

Omg what is this witchcraft?! Where do I by them?!

RaininSummer · 19/03/2018 20:47

These sound amazing but are they as calorie free as normal tea or actually full of biscuit powder or some such skullduggery?

MustBeThin · 19/03/2018 20:56

I asked the Bluebird people and it's just like drinking normal tea! No rubbish in them! You can make iced tea with them or tea lattes. I had gingerbread chai latte at Christmas.

MustBeThin · 19/03/2018 20:57

@MustBeThin 😲 I'm going to google the hell out of that!

They look lovely. Why on earth did I not know of this stuff. Going to order a mixture of sample packs.

MustBeThin · 20/03/2018 11:05

@Rockerfeller @RaininSummer they are brilliant honestly. Taste exactly like they are supposed too. I didn't think I'd like them because I hate flavoured teas from the supermarket, I went into the shop to by some normal loose leaf tea but they had some gingerbread chai and Christmas cake already made to try and I had a bit of each thinking I'd hate them but they were so nice. I ended up leaving with normal tea and about 6 sample bags of other teas plus a gingerbread chai latte to drink while walking round town. 😂 to make the lattes you just make a potent tea so only use about 100ml water and then heat/froth milk and add it to the tea. Gingerbread chai lattes were lovely at Christmas.
