Trump's ex-lead lawyer for the Mueller probe John Dowd raised the issue of DiGenova & Toensing's conflict to the legal team before he quit. Toensing asked her clients to sign conflict waivers but that may not be sufficient to assuage the concerns.

Interesting question boat, but no they won't. Public defenders are only for those who cannot afford a lawyer.

There are always publicity hungry shark-lawyers who'll do anything for money. I expect that Jose Baez (Casey Anthony) or Mark Geragos (Scott Peterson) would take the job for the 'right amount'.
