This is a quote of Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon has a number of quotes when Read through the lens of Trump are eerily prescient. Napoleon wasn’t of the same political bent as Trump necessarily, and he was certainly more cerebral, but the lust for power is the same.

Britain had stores of the Novichok nerve agent before the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal, the Russian ambassador to London has claimed.

In an extraordinary and lengthy press conference, Alexander Yakovenko said the accounts around the events in Salisbury were so complicated it would take someone like fictional detective Hercule Poirot to solve the crime.

www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-united-nations-womens-conference-pro-life-abortion-a8267691.html

An official appointed by President Donald Trump said during a closed-door United Nations meeting that the “US is a pro-life country”, despite the fact both the law and public opinion support a woman’s right to access legal and safe abortion.

Bethany Kozma, a senior adviser in the office of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment for US Agency for International Development (USAID), made the statement while countries negotiated the final document of the ongoing, annual women’s rights conference.

Two diplomats at the UN, who asked not to be named, and charities serving as UN observers, were able to confirm the comment to The Independent and Ms Kozma’s continued presence during negotiations the next day.

'Since taking office, President Trump and his lawyers have repeatedly trotted out the argument that this President is above the law. Whether declaring he has “the absolute right” to do what he wants with the Justice Department, or seeking to avoid litigation against him with claims of immunity, the President all too often purports to be the king of the castle, not President of a democratic nation.

Tuesday’s opinion from Judge Schechter of the New York Supreme Court in the Summer Zervos defamation case against Trump rightly rejects these claims. The very first sentence, “No one is above the law.” could not be clearer. No one, not even and perhaps especially not the President of the United States is entirely immune from suit.'

Just spoke to @POTUS and Gen. H.R. McMaster - contrary to reports they have a good working relationship and there are no changes at the NSC.

TheClaws · 22/03/2018 22:37

Trump announces John Bolton as National Security Advisor. I seem to recall reading somewhere that if Bolton took over as NSA “we are all going to die” - or was that another one of Trump’s replacements?

I am pleased to announce that, effective 4/9/18, @AmbJohnBolton will be my new National Security Advisor. I am very thankful for the service of General H.R. McMaster who has done an outstanding job & will always remain my friend. There will be an official contact handover on 4/9.

'House Intelligence Committee Republicans voted Thursday to end their investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, declaring that a string of contacts between Donald Trump's associates and Russian government affiliates fell short of collusion and recommending dramatic new steps to crack down on intelligence leaks.'

About Bolton. On the surface, he appears somewhat swampy and a creature of Fox and other conservative outlets. Not a good turn of events at all.

Bolton is an apocalyptic appointment -- one of the worst and most dangerous picks in an administration of absolutely reprehensible people

This is a perfect example of why it's "not good" that Mueller is taking so long. The damage is being, and will have been done by the time power is wrestled away from this maniac, if it ever is.

Yes, exactly. We do not have the luxury of time, and we never did. This isn't Watergate. This admin has already done irreparable damage in some areas but Bolton's appointment is a sign of much worse things to come.

Bolton makes Bannon look like a reasonably liberal man. Bolton is just a better actor.

I now believe a nuclear strike somewhere in the world is a real possibility. Trump and Bolton will feed off of each other’s insanity.
