I have NC due to th me delicate nature of the discussion... AIBU to think most women do this? My DH was very surprised when I told him I do.

When I use a public toilet and need to do a bottom burp I muffle the noise with toilet paper ( - basically farting into the paper before throwing it in to the bowl!).

Am I alone in this or do others do this too? I'd hate to think the poor woman next to me had to hear the noises from the next door cubicle. I hate hearing farts in a public toilet 🤢

In response to your OP, yes I do that, I thought it was a normal polite thing to do in public or at home too if you're like me.

I've never discussed it with my husband, he is somewhat amused at having never heard me fart before. I'm just very sneaky.

You use a paper bag to shit on? What do you do with the bag after?

Haha Like I do this!! Only because I work with all men and have IBS so fart loads and if they heard (toilet in close proximity to work area) they'd take the piss until I retired in 40 years.

It's also a handy trick when you first start seeing someone and you're not at the stage to fart in front of them!

I would never poo in a public toilet so never had this issue.
