It's gripping, well written, the characters and dialogue is so convincing and every single actor is brilliant. Harrowing subject but so well done. Hope the ending doesn't ruin it!

Which channel is it on? Need something gripping to watch!

Midge1978 · 14/03/2018 23:18

I binged watched them all. And I agree the acting is good but the you could definitely pick holes in the plot!

MatildaTheCat · 14/03/2018 23:23

Slightly difficult to follow at times but we are hooked. Best thing? Not sure, there have already been some good pickings. Endings tend to be tricky so I can’t comment yet.

Flapdoodles · 14/03/2018 23:29

Like onlyonaTuesday I binge watched them all. I did enjoy watching it but there are lots of holes in the plot. There seems to be a few series about missing children at the moment, I am watching The Disappearance and there is a new series called Gone starting Monday 19th.

Midge1978 · 15/03/2018 07:04

What are the plot holes?

It was gripping and I agree the characters were good. I found it a difficult watch though and had to watch something happier after it.

I almost posted about the ending then realised you've not seen the ending yet. So I won't.

Sorry nudge but for us the ending was terrible and completely ruined the series. That’s several hours of our lives we will never get back Angry

I’ve got it lined up to watch but been told the ending is terrible and it’s slow... will definitely give it a go tho! What channel is gone / the disappearanc on?

MsGameandWatching · 15/03/2018 07:24

I watched the whole series and did enjoy it but I wouldn't say it was the best thing on TV, the ending completely sucked and some of it was just so contrived that I sat there like Hmm. It was just ok and I wouldn't rush to watch another series.

DannyLaRuesBestFrock · 15/03/2018 07:28

I thought I was good, but please for the love of god, let's showcase some new female actors.

So so Sick of Suranne Jones and Sarah Lancashire as the go to for depressing drama's. They seem to have the market cornered.

Welliejellie · 15/03/2018 07:31

I enjoyed it but the end was a let down!

Oblomov18 · 15/03/2018 07:42

Currently watching. Think it's ok. But not that great. Weak in certain areas. But better than a lot of other stuff that's been on recently.

KnackeredHag · 15/03/2018 08:44

Where did the money go from the safe? Did he pay it back to loan sharks?

RedRedDogsBeg · 15/03/2018 08:48

God what a let down!

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but the ending is shite!

Wish I'd not bothered

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 15/03/2018 09:39

I really don't want spoil the ending for anyone who hasn't finished it....but it was all ...

Well, as long as i've got a pint and a few mates down the pub nothing else really matters????Confused

popkat1 · 15/03/2018 09:58

I really enjoyed it and thought it was good.... but was very disappointed in the ending

OliviaPopeRules · 15/03/2018 10:05

I thought the ending was crap I won't say anymore because I don't want to give anything away!

ShatnersBassoon · 15/03/2018 13:02

It was good. I liked the plot because it kept moving on, and the acting was excellent (except for Suranne Jones who I thought was completely wrong for the part, and was unconvincing).

goldenbulldog · 15/03/2018 13:04

haven't seen but will watch

Midge1978 · 16/03/2018 22:13

God have just watched the ending and thought it was so poignant. Not crap at all!

Tistheseason17 · 16/03/2018 22:16

Loved it. Prefer Happy Valley but it was still very good. Gripping, tough subject matter. Sadly, it happens.

Scotschic · 20/03/2018 10:26

Just finished watching this on my Now app and I have to say I’m really disappointed 😞 because it dragged and the ending was crap. It certainly didn’t deserve all the hype surrounding it.
