I see it on here a lot. Because someone is blonde they are automatically gorgeous.

I’m not saying any other colour is better. I’m saying that certain hair colours suit different people.

I look better as a brunette, I wasn’t as attractive when I was blonde. I’m sure others have experienced this the other way around too.

I’m just getting quite tired of the whole everything needs to be light in order for anyone to be considered pretty.

Frustrated I have definitely heard of it but I haven't seen it ever bandied about on MN.

I think it was definitely the case at school, 2 girls were rated as 'stunners' both were blonde and blue eyed but facially not that attractive, there was a real beauty in my year at school, dark hair, green eyes and a few freckles, she got overlooked, think that probably changed once she left school though.
I haven't noticed that sort of attitude on mumsnet but it is a proven fact that blondes are generally seen as more attractive as its associated with youth.

I think blonde hair looks nice if you have cool pink toned skin. It doesn't mean a blonde haired person is suddenly more attractive, but some men have a preference for it.
Plus it's not only this country that has a preference for it, the Asian subcontinent is the same.

The worst I ever heard from a man in association with blond hair, is that he didn't like blonds 'because they're all sluts'. On line dating really brings out some utter turds
