Clunge.

StripySocksAndDocs · 07/03/2018 20:54

'abultions' and 'pop' as a verb.

BonnieF · 07/03/2018 20:59

All business jargon, eg “we’re leveraging our synergies vis-a-vis the low-hanging fruit going forward”.

This sort of entirely meaningless verbiage makes me cringe, and question the level of education and literacy of the user.

throwcushions · 07/03/2018 21:00

Cash is king

throwcushions · 07/03/2018 21:03

Oh and "yaaaaas queen". Usually said in response to something totally mundane done by somebody very dull

Sarahh2014 · 07/03/2018 21:04

Other half used to describe dp and pop as in pop to the shops

MorvahRising · 07/03/2018 21:10

‘Outside of’ - it makes me want to throw things.

You don’t need the ‘of’. The phrase is ‘outside’. ‘Outside work, my hobbies include yodelling’. Why do you need an extra ‘of’? You don’t. Ooh, it’s making me feel ratty NOW.

BibbityBobbityBoob · 07/03/2018 21:11

Little Man makes me irrationally angry. No he's a baby boy not a little man argh.

Also, 'as it were'

LouiseH2017 · 07/03/2018 21:17

“Entitled” It sounds so grabby/expecting and drives me crazy. May have something more to do with the attitude of people using it than the actual word.

turnlightoff · 07/03/2018 21:20

‘Thinking outside the box’ makes me annoyed. Also ‘bouncing ideas off each other’ and ‘step up to the plate’.

I remember at school we would get essay questions saying ‘blah blah blah. Discuss.’
The ‘.Discuss’ bit would really irritate me for some reason. Made me want to reply ‘no’.

MrsDesireeCarthorse · 07/03/2018 21:22

"No, just no." And "Wow. Just wow."

Bonjovispyjamas · 07/03/2018 21:23

'Not being funny but...'and 'just being honest' these are usually said when they are being funny about something and being nasty not honest!

diodati · 07/03/2018 21:25

"I'm good" in response to "how are you?"
"Are you done yet?"
"Are you still working on that?" Server to customer in restaurant

lightoflaluna · 07/03/2018 21:25

Boils my piss

Urgh

ginandbearit · 07/03/2018 21:26

'Reach out' ....its 'contact' or 'call' or anything fucking else already in common usage you airheaded weasels ...and breathe

diodati · 07/03/2018 21:27

Also, "Can I get xyz?" instead of "May I have xyz?" or even "I would like xyz."Angry

Babyroobs · 07/03/2018 21:28

Belly.

turnlightoff · 07/03/2018 21:38

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 07/03/2018 21:41

Nailed it

Smashed it

Angry
Huuwayeye · 07/03/2018 21:42

"Nom nom" (makes me want to hurt something when I see that one)
"Going forward"
"I'm not being funny"

Starting to dislike "grim" more and more. Mainly because I keep seeing it posted on MN in response to things like "I used the same towel to dry my hands more than once without washing it in between. Aibu?"

Blankiefan · 07/03/2018 21:44

Ball ache.

Makes my skin crawl.
