Sophisticatedsarcasm · 07/03/2018 22:39

Another thing with the teens at the moment is
#relationship goals.
I’m just thinking have your own relationship not someone else’s 😫

CheeseGirl4 · 07/03/2018 22:50

Panties. It's such a dirty old man sort of word.

Off of. For example, I took the book off of the shelf.

Tasty. Normal usage is fine, but I have a friend who cannot say the word 'food' without prefacing it with 'tasty'. For example, 'shall we go and get some tasty food before the cinema'? No, let's go and get some downright horrible food instead... At some point I may lose my shit over this.

stuckontheM25 · 07/03/2018 22:53

"Tiny human"

Just fuck off and say "baby" like a normal large human.

Sar500 · 07/03/2018 22:56

I hate it when people say "I just did a little bit of sick in my mouth". It's a disgusting thing to say and sounds common.

AuntyElle · 07/03/2018 23:04

SAINSBOS

digitallyremastered · 07/03/2018 23:05

YES to large of nork. I hate that.

Also 'expecting' as in 'she's expecting again'. Expecting WHAT?! An Ocado delivery? The post?

Trumpdump · 07/03/2018 23:06

Yes to Sanpro!!

powershowerforanhour · 07/03/2018 23:17

-dog or -dawg used as a suffix to make a nickname out of your friend's name. Sounds fine if you're meeting up to produce a rap record about your tough upbringing in an an American ghetto. Does not sound good when said by a white English man who works in an office.
Eg "Yeah Soph-dog, I totally get your hatred of the expression "relationshipgoals".
Cringe.

semideponent · 07/03/2018 23:23

'with the best will in the world'...

Always used when the speaker's about to let you down and take the easy way out.

Toadinthehole · 08/03/2018 03:09

Loaned.

ethelfleda · 08/03/2018 03:12

People who put 'end of' to conclude an argument really winds me up. Who put you in charge to decide it is the 'end of'?? And the end of what? Common sense and reasoning??

Farfel · 08/03/2018 03:20

Tummy - when said by adults about their own stomach or belly.

ethelfleda · 08/03/2018 03:21

^ yes!!

Farfel · 08/03/2018 03:25

"Furbaby"

"That is all"

"This is everything"

Babdoc · 08/03/2018 03:25

“Return back”. Return already means “to go back”, so they’re going “back back”!
“3am in the morning”. As opposed to what? It could hardly be 3am in the bloody evening, could it?! Given that AM means “before noon”, ie in the morning!
I agree with the PPs who hate “panties”. Makes me cringe. Revolting mix of simpering little girly and prurient old perv. What’s wrong with just pants?
My kids jokingly refer to it as “the P word”, as they know I can’t bear to hear it spoken!

Obi1Kenobi · 08/03/2018 03:30

Innit
