there are a lot i do not like but, literary is high on my list , 'as i said ' when they have not said it before, but it gets on my nerves even more when some one is talking to you ( usually telling a story ) and they pause for no reason and you have to prompt them to go on with the tale even when you are not interested in what they are saying and just trying to be polite

Can just about cope with "bear with me" but the short version makes me cringes. DD started doing it so I thought it was a teen thing but someone said it to me on the phone in a professional capacity and I just waned to scream.
