Spendy - always so twee and self-justificatory (which probably isn't a word)
Purchased - when bought would do just as well.
Veggies - they are veg or vegetables.

Baby on board. I want to scream.

Angie169 · 09/03/2018 23:13

there are a lot i do not like but, literary is high on my list , 'as i said ' when they have not said it before, but it gets on my nerves even more when some one is talking to you ( usually telling a story ) and they pause for no reason and you have to prompt them to go on with the tale even when you are not interested in what they are saying and just trying to be polite

RoseWhiteTips · 10/03/2018 01:19

Translation: it’s not my problem and I really don’t give a shit.

RoseWhiteTips · 10/03/2018 22:20

Another vile, shameful one:

Fuck off and die

lovesugarfreejelly63 · 04/04/2018 13:19

Two words that irritate me, one is snuck and the other is babe, ghastly.

SlowlyShrinking · 04/04/2018 13:24

When people say they’re ‘prepping’ something
When they say ‘fizz’ for sparkling wine or champagne

MumW · 04/04/2018 13:35

bear with
Can just about cope with "bear with me" but the short version makes me cringes. DD started doing it so I thought it was a teen thing but someone said it to me on the phone in a professional capacity and I just waned to scream.

Blonde87 · 02/11/2020 20:36

You do you

ViciousJackdaw · 02/11/2020 20:59

When people say they’re ‘prepping’ something

Especially when what they are really doing is heating a tin of soup up.
