I mean seriously- they appear to be such frequent flyers esp transatlantic. The whole clan en masse in NYC /LA or wherever. I mean how do they cope with the jet lag and attend school full time. It appears so cleverly packaged the celebrity extended family. Also cant link but todays pictures of VB wearing a baby pink stripy curtain. She looks so dead pan all the time and unhappy
Wish she would just ditch the sunglasses !

If one more person says "impeccably polite" or "down to earth" I'm going to
scream. Just saying.

Theresasmayshoes11 · 06/03/2018 12:43

Oh stop it those being snide and mean!

They look a lovely family and both the parents have worked bloody hard to get to the top of their careers. Good for them.

And so what if she doesn’t smile all the time.,so bloody what why should she.

logicalmum · 06/03/2018 12:52

Dear me

RoseWhiteTips · 06/03/2018 13:48

She is odd.

southeastdweller · 06/03/2018 13:51

And I'm sure their parents are very good role models to them for what having rock solid work ethic can achieve you.

So you approve of DB and his tax dodging then do you? Great role model he is Hmm

logicalmum · 06/03/2018 14:43

Children of high achieving parents often only enjoy any success purely because of who their parents are. Huge wealth will open the door to practically anything they want to do, they're never going to feel the same level of achievement that ordinary kids will feel .

VB was in a famous band, he was a footballer, it's highly unlikely the kids will do the same. Can't see where the role modelling comes in, apart from selling every aspect of your life to the media.

Theresasmayshoes11 · 06/03/2018 15:41

Pooh grapes are very sour today Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2018 16:07

BitOutOfPractice, no that isn’t what logical is saying! She said that VB likes us to think she’s like other mums. I thought it was pretty clear

Obviously I'm not being clear either. I am saying she is exactly like any other mother who uses paid for childcare. Good grief!

Toomanytealights · 06/03/2018 16:18

She did have a wealthy upbringing, being picked up from your private school in your dad's Rolls is hardly normal.Hmm

TollgateDebs · 06/03/2018 16:23

And why not? I think travel is great for children, if and this is a big if, the education they are receiving elsewhere is up to scratch. I honestly believe that some schools think full attendance somehow makes up for the poor schooling some receive. I am not knocking teachers, but not all education has the same value to a student. I've seen schools in July fill weeks with anything but teaching and then fine a parent for taking their child on holiday early, when all they are missing out on is trips to the zoo and sport.

NaughtyButNise · 06/03/2018 16:42

Toomany She didn't go to private school. She went to St Mary's in Cheshunt. St Mary's is well rough.Grin

Snowmagedon · 06/03/2018 17:24

I thought the pic was a snake head.

Buglife · 06/03/2018 17:32

I imagine having private tutors and also the wealth/ability to travel could provide many more opportunities for education than attending the local school to be honest! Parents on here are always saying that travel is educational for children and broadens their education. I’m sure if the children chose to be academic they have every support to be. And one on one tuition/teaching is great for educating the individual child.

Fionne · 06/03/2018 17:39

I thought the pic was a snake head

So did I.

But then I thought maybe he's some kind of snake charmer and persuaded it to be an elephant.

Or Mickey Mouse from the back.

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2018 17:42

I thought it was an ostrich's head right up close to the camera

logicalmum · 06/03/2018 19:12

BitOutOfPractice no i'm sorry you still didn't get it. Earlier in the thread a poster was talking about how she felt so tired and alone feeding her baby in the middle of the night, then she read that VB feels so tired because SHE was having to see to her baby in the middle of the night too. I pointed out that it wasn't quite the same, the poster was doing it all herself, VB wasn't.

Nothing wrong with that but hardly comparable.
Just what is it about that that you find hard to understand.

leccybill · 06/03/2018 19:31

I really want to like her. She's been around for my whole life and is an icon of my time.

I just wish she came across a bit more, well, fun. Like Pink - now she's cool.

LizzieSiddal · 06/03/2018 19:33

I want to let me her too. I admire her work ethic but the way they push their dc into the world spotlight makes me think she and David incredibly stupid.

Cantusethatname · 06/03/2018 19:37

I just hate the stuff with their kids. Brooklyn irritates me beyond belief and all that "kisses from Harper" stuff is nauseating.

logicalmum · 06/03/2018 20:01

Everyone of them irritate the hell out of me. Don't understand all the love of them. So far removed from anyone on here, might as well be on another planet.

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2018 23:29

How on earth do you think vb feeds her baby without being there?!

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2018 23:29

That was to logicalmum!

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2018 23:30

I wonder what you find hard to understand about that? Patronising much?

DalekDalekDalek · 06/03/2018 23:31

Logical You just sound bitter and jealous now.

SleepingStandingUp · 06/03/2018 23:47

*logicalmum I assume you have it on good authority then that VB nor DB did over night feeds? No idea if she breastfed, but just because she had a Nanny doesn't mean she didn't didn't get up to her willing kid in the night
