I mean seriously- they appear to be such frequent flyers esp transatlantic. The whole clan en masse in NYC /LA or wherever. I mean how do they cope with the jet lag and attend school full time. It appears so cleverly packaged the celebrity extended family. Also cant link but todays pictures of VB wearing a baby pink stripy curtain. She looks so dead pan all the time and unhappy

She's the one who sets up the damn photo shoots, why shouldn't she smile, and she doesn't WANT to be left alone. She doesn't actually have to smile anyway, just try to look reasonably pleasant and not scowl.

No it doesn't have an effect on me., i didn't start the thread in case you missed that. I was responding to the post that said why would she have a smile on her face when walking through the airport.....and what the hell is the biscuit for, a perfectly reasonable comment imo.

Oh dear, I also thought it was a picture of Mickey mouse in shadow??? I took a better picture of an elephant than that on one of those disposable cameras 20years ago. The elephant was charging us at the time as well. Perhaps he should make more effort to go to class?

Most celeb kids are home educated and get better grades from those in school because they also get to travel and enjoy their childhoods and not be soul destroyed by having to center their lives around school.

I have met them. I have an NDA because I did a job for them but I would say that the children are extremely well mannered and intelligent so whatever they're doing is working!

Logicalmum the reason the comments about Victoria Beckham annoy me is that they are always about her not smiling. No one ever comments on David.

I’ve just had a quick look at fifty or so Beckham family airport photos. He isn’t smiling in any of them.

So it seems to me that even on MN it’s the same old sexist bullshit that women should smile at all times but men are allowed to look serious.

They are obviously a very international family.
The children do go to school, but longer holidays because they're in private schools.
You do realise that when they post photos, they're not always taken on that day?!

Women (famous or not) are not obliged to smile and look cheerful for the benefit of random members of the public. They can have whatever expression they want on their faces. Can't believe some of the sexist crap spouted on this thread.

I don’t mind the Beckhams, apart from her desire to be seen as a fully fledged clothes designer, a ton of contacts and Simon Fuller organised that one, not her skill.

They seem to be a loving close family and I bet the kids do school hours like other families shelling out £££££ for their education.

MN hates Victoria Beckham Curtain mostly as far as I can see because she doesn’t smile.

Despite the fact that as per this thread lots of people who have encountered her in daily life say she is perfectly nice.

I don’t care what DB and VB look like, what expressions they have on their faces, what they say, where they go, etc etc

I just wish they’d give their dc some privacy. Those kids will never have a “normal” life, they’ll never know what it’s like to walk anywhere and not have people staring at you or shouting at you in the street. I think Ma and Pa Beckham should be ashamed of themselves for doing this to their children.

I don't care whether she smiles or not. I'd rather judge her by the stories from people who have actually met her which seem 100% positive.
