Am I stupid? I don’t have any boots that fit and not time to buy - have a corporate job and feel like I’ll look ridiculous!

I live in a desert and even I have wellies, goretex hiking boots and a pair of smart black ankle boots with a grip.

In this circumstance boots don't have to be good quality or hard wearing - they need to be practical even if they'll fall apart after 4 or 5 wears. They just need a decent grip and togave space in them for thick socks.

FWIW, I go to work in birkenstocks every day and change into heels when I get there. Thought going to the office in more practical shoes and changing there was pretty standard!

Hi OP. Hope you made it to work alright and without getting too uncomfortable. Hopefully less snow today, feels like wind chill today will be brutal tho.
