.....

OP posts:
UpstartCrow · 24/02/2018 21:18

Any thread where OP is baffled how they could possibly have got pregnant because they did it while drunk/standing up/2 weeks before their period/all the above, but didn't feel the need to use any contraception because that would have been boring/unnecessary/ slightly inconvenient.

lucylouuu · 24/02/2018 21:18

ah yes, Larry! The teenage fans act pushed that for a long period of time genuinely believing the baby was a doll and a cover up for a gay relationship between the two members... so ridiculous

lucylouuu · 24/02/2018 21:18

the more recent Anal Bleaching thread is a favourite of mine

DalekDalekDalek · 24/02/2018 21:19

Relatively new to MN so not read hundreds but I really enjoyed the "should I get my DP to come home from work" one who then got stuck on the counter in her kitchen until said DP came home. That was hilarious. She gave everyone on the thread such a bollocking for giving her "bad advice"!!

DailyMailFail101 · 24/02/2018 21:20

The one moaning about sombody going in front of her in a queue....

RedDogsBeg · 24/02/2018 21:21

It was the hideous slurs directed at the mother of the child I took most exception to lucy.

athingthateveryoneneeds · 24/02/2018 21:21

What's Brian from Hull?

I'm quite pleased to see all the CF threads have died down. Perhaps everyone is waiting to be cheeky again during the Easter holidays.

Sniv · 24/02/2018 21:21

Threads that start 'me again' or 'I've posted about this before' and then launch without explanation into episode 37 of an ongoing saga where the situation and people are so banal I wouldn't remember even if I had read them.

KochabRising · 24/02/2018 21:21

The person insisting that humans had evolved to be vegan ...

Various polite posters pointed out the gcse level science that proved her wrong. She was having none of it, because PETA told her otherwise. 🤦🏻‍♀️

NeganLovesLucille · 24/02/2018 21:22

The weird one about the fly seat on the bus. What the fuck is fly seat?

His little shirt was odd as well.

Oh, and Doctor Dawn. Starting to giggle just remembering these now.

ASimpleLampoon · 24/02/2018 21:23

The one where someone complained about MIL coming over for a sunday dinner and constantly talked about the chicken carcass. At the end she yelled at the MIL "you are the carcass!". I never really understood what that was all about.

YellowMakesMeSmile · 24/02/2018 21:24

The "am I pregnant" ones because apparently popping out for a pregnancy test to check is beyond so many.

The "accidental pregnancy" ones too, it's like a whole host of people don't seem to realise that sex can equal pregnancy and it comes as a huge surprise.

The weird massage one is that one that stands out, not sure if it was deleted.

MissionItsPossible · 24/02/2018 21:24

The thread the husband of the woman that made the cake that looked like a shitty nappy www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3046088-in-wondering-who-the-fuck-would-order-this-cake made in response to it. My god, it was so cringworthy. (That is the link to the thread about the cake, not the husbands response).

Also the appalling one about the OP who expected better presents from her dying brother in law. That was one of the most selfish post I have ever read on AIBU.

babyinthacorner · 24/02/2018 21:24

There's one going at the moment where someone's posted a bump photo asking everyone to guess how many weeks she is, and then starts calling the posters arseholes! 🙄

Sashkin · 24/02/2018 21:25

That Christmas bauble one. OP got more and more unbelievable until she had to either go full Wicked Man or just stop posting (she just stopped posting).

DesertSky · 24/02/2018 21:26

The one where a quite naive young woman was asking opinions of her new beau who still lived at home (I think?) and was out of work but was continously splashing cash on her, buying her new gifts and wearing new clothes, trainers each time she saw him. He was very dismissive if she casually brought up subject of how he was able to fund things (told her it was savings?). He was apparently very intelligent (seemed to be very into conspiracy theories I think?) and she almost felt inferior to him! Some of the comments from Posters suggesting what alternative work he may do on the side was hilarious!! It became so unbelievable in the end. The OP vanished into thin air!!! Anyone remember this?!!

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 24/02/2018 21:27

I hate the threads where someone has posted a photo of period blood or someone's poo. I mean there are some things we don't want to see.

FreeNiki · 24/02/2018 21:27

The 12 week scan pics....is it a boy or girl.

Confused
TheDailyMailLovesTheEUReally · 24/02/2018 21:29

What's yours OP?

or is it a slow day on your news desk?

Sparklingbrook · 24/02/2018 21:30

This one. A row of ... is fairly ridiculous TBF.

MycatsaPirate · 24/02/2018 21:31

Any trans threads. The subject has been done to death and why people keep starting more threads on it when there are already loads on the go is beyond me. And stop sneaking them into AIBU.

There was a thread recently about someone who needed medical help and her doctor said to go to hospital, all of mumsnet said to go to hospital but apparently the op knows best and didn't want to go. I have no fucking clue why she posted if she was adamant she wasn't going.

princesssparkle1 · 24/02/2018 21:32

My favourites are the threads obviously started by a journo from the Daily Malevolence

🤔

deste · 24/02/2018 21:35

The 12 year old who was still on nappies and they blamed the nanny. We all had opinions but it was a troll and we fell for it.

Then there was the op asking about naming her baby Beryl and after loads of threads mentioned her other dds name which was Pearl. I think we were had again.

Dailystuck71 · 24/02/2018 21:36

Yes princess! Those started by DM are fairly obvious. I just ignore.

Tomthe poster who asked Brian from Hull was to do with personal female massage.

Figgygal · 24/02/2018 21:39

Mexican house thief
