lightoflaluna · 26/02/2018 16:48

dirtyprettything · 26/02/2018 17:01

AIBU My 1 year old wanted to play with someone else’s toy

Response: Your child sounds v entitled

They are 1 FFS

Roussette · 26/02/2018 17:20

I want kitchen counter one too Grin

FluffyWhiteTowels · 26/02/2018 17:33

I've just seen the title ... best willies for dog walks... 😂😂

jaimelannistersgoldenhand · 26/02/2018 17:47

My baby is called Elle but people pronounce it as "ell" rather than "elly" 🙄

On the baby name theme, somebody wanted to call their baby Rogue. 😵

The thread where the husband ejaculated on his wife's thesis. 🤢

jaimelannistersgoldenhand · 26/02/2018 17:48

T rexing in Asda

Kitchen counter thread Grin

MrsMaxwell · 26/02/2018 18:20

Most Step Parenting ones Smile

MissionItsPossible · 26/02/2018 18:29

Also found this one I mentioned in my first comment on this thread. Shocking: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3148794-AIBU-to-give-up-on-bil?

Roussette · 26/02/2018 18:33

Thanks Mission !

As far as baby names, I usually read, roll eyes and move on but felt the urge to post on the one asking what everyone thought of Huckleberry.

I kid you not.

MrsMaxwell · 26/02/2018 18:53

Also the tandem breast feeding one where the SIL wanted to tandem feed at the wedding was so funny.

Sad one was the Mum who posted a photo of her DDs Home made mother’s Day card slagging it off and it ended up all over Twitter- poor DD!

youarenotkiddingme · 26/02/2018 18:57

Super soaker but that was mostly very very funny Grin

The glass coffee table in a hotel restaurant lobby that a child ran and fell on during a family meal. The toddler cut his head open and the parent was absolutely convinced they were negligent for having the table!

BalloonSlayer · 26/02/2018 19:01

Have to add the current "Mum refusing to talk to me because she lost my son" one. I only read it on its first day so maybe more has been revealed but it looked obvious to me that the OP had gone off on one (it's a BIG clue when people won't reveal what was said in a crucial conversation) and her Mum was really upset.

DalekDalekDalek · 26/02/2018 19:05

BIL one is grim reading! Wailing at the Sistine Chapel is hilarious!

youarenotkiddingme · 26/02/2018 19:07

Oh and lemon drizzle cake was one of the first really addictive threads I was on.

Also loved the save the date wedding one where op didn't make final cut for guest invitation but was asked to help decorate the venue.

I'm sure that is where "Is she on glue!" Originated from.

MagicNumbers1234 · 26/02/2018 19:08

Most ridicules threads:
The ones where they didn't use any contraceptive (including the withdrawal method) and are distraught and shocked when inevitably they get pregnant.
Or the shocked BFP from the 'not trying but not preventing' and the 'can precum get me pregnant?' and the 'who's the father if I slept with X and Y within x amount of time within the same fortnight and within the time of ovulation' .

The parking threads where posters advise op to key someone's car or do some other form of criminal damage as revenge in retaliation.

Frusso · 26/02/2018 19:28

The ones where the op is pregnant and doesn't know who the father is, then goes on to list dates and times of 2-3 different men.
I swear it's the same thread resurfacing every 4-6months, as it reads almost exactly the same every time.

The Brian from Hull one was hilarious! unfortunately didn't make it to classics because it was so obviously a troll but it was funny.

There's a couple at the moment that just have me WTAF

Also the ones that the OP strops and flounces because they don't get the response that they want, and tell anyone that disagrees or gives an alternative view to what they want to hear to not both posting.

Belindabauer · 26/02/2018 20:00

Does anyone remember the poster who refused to take in deliveries for her neighbour.
She said she lived in a very posh street where houses prices were exceptionally high.
She then went on to explain that a neighbour kept having supermarket deliveries which included having boxes of disposable nappies.
She was aghast that anyone could do this.
It kind of went along the lines of I'm sick and tired of her having the bloody Tescos van on our street, it lowers the tone,
I won't accept any deliveries for her anymore. Why doesn't she shop at Harrods?

runnerbean09 · 26/02/2018 20:17

Any where the OP asks if she is being unreasonable about a trivial thing with her partner, then goes on to tell us how said partner is an alcoholic/drug user/physically abusive/emotionally abusive/has no money/has no job/has fathered six children to different men and doesn't see or pay for any of them etc.

As if the small trivial thing is the root of their problem!

metalmum15 · 26/02/2018 20:31

Has fathered 6 children to different men

I'd like to read that thread!

weasledee · 26/02/2018 20:47

Ha ha ha metalmum! Smile

DalekDalekDalek · 26/02/2018 21:29

The First Time Buyers one at the moment is quite funny. They have (saved) £200K for a deposit on a house but can't find anywhere to park their vintage car! Why do we live in such a cruel world!

Amaried · 26/02/2018 22:49

I loved the cf parking one where ops neighbour was telling people they could park in her drive during the day!
Got offended when she told them to stop.

WheresTheHooferDoofer · 27/02/2018 19:09

BalloonSlayer In the mum won't talk thread, it's the OP who's behaving sensibly. Her parents are the ranty ones.

gingergenius · 27/02/2018 19:42

What was the trans uterus transplant thread???
