Not to wear knickers in bed?

Not a thread about a thread, as such, but I was very struck by someone on another thread talking about her old bed kickers (as in knickers she wears in bed, not as in knickers worn by her bed). I would have thought it was thoroughly unreasonable to wear knickers of any description in bed (unless they are the type that leads to Things), but AIBU?

The waistband is fine-It's more the riding up my ass and bits being half uncovered that bugs me :)
!-Hence why I wear the shorts, they are comfortable and cover everything I want them too!

Charlie - Ouch. I do sometimes wear DP's underwear, but that tends to be post-shag, when I need to get home. Grin

Would worry slightly about a man whose dongle might meet a zip.

Lakie - how do you sit up without your undercarriage touching the sheets? Do you sleep on your front

The closest I get to sitting up in bed is reclining with a cup of tea balanced on my ample boobage. No undercarriage contact, and no fanny trails, even on dark sheets!

I spend half the night sitting up bfing and dealing with various dc. If someone told me i'd be a knicker wearing pyjamarer 6 years ago i'd have laughed my sexy naked face off. But look at me now.

@koala I too am sitting on my vag - right this minute in fact - if sitting up straight. If slouching back, sitting mainly on my lower back/coccyx. How the fuck do people sit on their bottoms?! I've been experimenting for the sat 10 mins and can't seem to achieve it

I used to always sleep naked, now I am old and fat so prefer to cover up. I always wear knickers in bed and never get thrush.

Lakie, there is not much that makes me LOL, but your post did. Too right. But I am v jel of the kind of boobage that you can rest a cup of tea on. You couldn’t rest a flipping marble on mine.

@HoppingPavlova I have had a child and I don't need knickers and a large pad every night? Maybe for a couple of weeks after the birth but why pads for life Confused

Oh, ffs. Still wondering whether I am now sitting on my buttocks or my vag. Though I am wearing knickers and Evening Pyjamas, so maybe I need not worry unduly...

@Vulpius I did it! Grin I am now sitting on my arse. We'll one arse cheek only actually. I achieved this by crouching on the chair (so sitting on my feet), then scooching the feet to one side so the cheek gently lowers into position as I lean my arm on the sofa arm. Just realised that this is actually how i sit most of the time. So I am a bottom sitter after all! (thank fuck - with all that practicing my vag was starting to feel a little crushed)

I sleep with nothing on at home as en suite but when away from home sleep with nothing on but have nightie by bed in case no en suite.

Nope.No negatives to not wearing knickers.Never get thrush or cystitis and imo trousers do not chafe like people think they would .Plus you get to spend the knicker money on wine 😁

Oh, go away, all you people who have made me experiment with sitting on my fanny/buttocks. I just want a mice, quiet evening, without discharge, spiders, farticles etc...

This is hilarious, MrsKoala I think we must be very similar as I have all the same issues. Also in terms of "airing" I just make sure I dry myself well after an evening shower, I always use the hairdryer on the cold setting on myself. DH once caught me and was amazed, killed a bit of feminine mystique. I have never had thrush.

MrsM I thought I was the only one who blow-dried my ladygarden. Seems I am wrong. For which I am monstrously grateful. Should be going to bed now, but as DP is not here, I am stuck with either my Jane. Eyre nightie or nothing.

Don't sleep in knickers, just pjs or varying lengths/warmness depending on weather. Now concerned about fanjo spiders so am tucking pj trousers into my bedsocks
