DH says 'it is what it is' an awful lot

Similar to "we are where we are"

Where else would we be.Hmm

RaininSummer · 19/02/2018 23:03

I love the circus and monkeys but cannot bear the boiling piss or grinding gears.

SistersOfPercy · 19/02/2018 23:03

I am rather partial to not my circus, but then my great uncle was a house trainer for PT Barnum poor claim to fame

MrsKoala · 20/02/2018 09:48

I suspect in the circus saying it is regarding one particularly annoying/misbehaving monkey out of the troop, rather than the circus consisting of just one monkey. I know fun was a bit thin on the ground in the eastern bloc but even that may be stretching it! Grin

Anyway, I have decided you can all fuck off to the far side of fuck. Gavel.

The thing about flat screen t.v.(I mean who doesn't have one these days ) and goats and people on Benefits its really unfunny and unoriginal

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2018 10:04

I never did understand the relevance goat thing, I am fine with that though. Grin

sinceyouask · 20/02/2018 10:11

I hate this one so much. I hated it when it was the go to line on TLL on lj and I hate it on here.

CobraKai · 20/02/2018 10:16

I want people to stop saying trust your gut/trust your instinct. It's generally not great advice but given the enormous rates of anxiety amongst MNettters it isn't helping anyone.

KolintheKaterpillar · 20/02/2018 10:38

This is the circus it refers to
