What has started to annoy me is "genuine question". They're never genuine questions.

I got in trouble for a similar thread a while back, it's a phrase which makes my teeth itch, and requires me to give my head a wobble

Hate it too. It just gets churned out, usually alongside “you don’t have a xxx problem, you have a DH problem.”

All very cliched amdvwithout proper meaning.

Whilst on the subject of water based birds, last week I saw some swans shagging whilst the rest of the male swan’s family watched. Even his wife! ( yes I do know this as there is only one pair of swans in the lake plus their two offspring from last year. The OS (Other Swan) had flown in from the lake next door.
