And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

I am Legend.
Silent Tongue (starring River Phoenix).

I need to add that River Phoenix has been is some excellent films too but Silent Tongue was just awful.

Oobis · 21/08/2018 19:01

Junior
Waterworld
That one where they go diving off a boat but can't get back on and just float around. Open Water is it? Dreadfully dull.

HelpmeobiMN · 21/08/2018 19:01

I love Wimbledon Grin

The only two films I’ve ever walked out of at the cinema are Alexander and Revolver. Both needlessly violent, badly acted, and rambling plots.

YorkieDorkie · 21/08/2018 19:05

Miami Vice. We walked out.

Vicky1990 · 21/08/2018 19:16

Dunkirk.
Complete load of rubbish, very disappointed.

Sarahlou63 · 21/08/2018 19:17

No Country for Old Men. Abysmal.

Pandoraslastchance · 21/08/2018 19:30

Truly Madly Deeply A pile of shite

bluemascara · 21/08/2018 20:11

There was one we watched recently called Mother with Javier Bardem and Jennifer Lawrence.
A bigger pile of shite I've never seen. Omg it was AWFUL!!!

CherylStreep · 21/08/2018 20:22

Walked out of: Lost in Translation, Wimbledon, Austin powers, Joy.
Hated: Boyhood.

Daffodils07 · 21/08/2018 20:23

How It Ends! Problem is you don't really get to find out! In actual fact you don't get to find out anything!
Also Hereditary, if you watch the trailer then you have basically watched the film.

Chuggachuggatoottoot · 21/08/2018 20:25

Maid in Manhattan

EmeryisntthenewWenger · 21/08/2018 20:54

The Thin Red Line and Napoleon Dynamite.

Both complete shite for different reasons.

ForalltheSaints · 21/08/2018 21:01

London Film Festival sometime in the noughties. A film about education in Yorkshire, which was dreadful and nothing like the blurb about it.

The80sweregreat · 21/08/2018 21:03

Boyhood was so bad it was funny! But not in any kind of good way.

TheFrenchLieutenantsMonkey · 21/08/2018 21:34

The Royal Tanenbaums. Angelica Houston and Gene Hackman. DH had heard good things and took me, on about our 3rd date, to see it. We both came.out looking shell shocked but bonded over how utterly shite it was.

Bluebell878275 · 21/08/2018 21:56

Tinker, Taylor, Solider, Spy.... bore fest.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 21/08/2018 21:58

I posted when this thread originally started

And my bad film hasn’t been topped I don’t think it can be

AppleKatie · 21/08/2018 22:04

Spinal tap. (Recommended as a classic that all should see. Nah. Doesn’t do it for me -oik-)

Life of Pi (controversial perhaps)

SATC2

Clionba · 21/08/2018 22:11

Notting Hill.
Dreadful.

Scientistic · 21/08/2018 22:12

Satc2 was really awful. Not to mention offensive.

The new King Arthur film - I lasted 5 mins. In fact most stuff by Guy Ritchie.

Scientistic · 21/08/2018 22:13

Oh, and I imagine if someone managed to drag me (kicking and screaming) into mamma mia, it would definitely be top of my list.

Whatabanana · 21/08/2018 22:15

Tree of life. No idea what was going on.

Clionba · 21/08/2018 22:22

Love Actually. Irritating. When I met my new sister in law, she had just been to see it and loved it. Trying to be friendly I pretended to like it as well. That Christmas, she very kindly gave me the dvd which we then had to sit through. I've had to maintain this fiction. Confused
